<title>Sound Mind and Secure Soul</title>

How does it feel when you call out to your children or a friend and they do not answer? It can be frustrating (my mind starts with all sorts of things) . I know my children think , when I call them, I have things for them to do.&amp;nbsp; They usually don&amp;rsquo;t want to pick up after themselves, or go with me to run errands.&amp;nbsp; Does that&amp;nbsp; happen at your house? What about when I have good things to give them or tell them?&amp;nbsp; They miss out.&amp;nbsp; Sometimes they just don&amp;rsquo;t do as I&amp;rsquo;ve asked.&amp;nbsp; What happens then? &amp;nbsp;Should there be consequences? God, our Father disciplines out of love for us (Hebrews 12:5-11) God speaks in Isaiah 1:2 about nourishing and bringing up his children and how they have rebelled against him.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Friends can be busy.&amp;nbsp; You may have some great news for them but because of circumstances they may not be able to get back to you. You might have an event that you know they would enjoy or benefit from but they are unable to answer your call.&amp;nbsp; Thank goodness for email, and text. Maybe you want to call a friend back but the time they may need from you is more than you can give so you don&amp;rsquo;t respond.&lt;br&gt;
I was reading in Isaiah the last couple of days.&amp;nbsp; His words (Isaiah the prophet) were directed to the nation of Judah and the people of Jerusalem. (Isaiah 1:1).&amp;nbsp; In 66:4 the words &amp;ldquo;because when I called, none did answer&amp;rdquo; stood out to me.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I started going back through the chapters.&amp;nbsp; These are the verses that were screaming to me: (if you know what I mean)&lt;br&gt;
I started in chapter 65 but going back to the beginning of the chapter.&amp;nbsp; Notice what was said at the beginning and how God continues to call.&lt;br&gt;
Isaiah 65 (KJV)&lt;br&gt;
&lt;sup&gt;12&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;sup&gt;13&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:&lt;br&gt;
&lt;sup&gt;14&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.&amp;nbsp; &lt;sup&gt;6&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near&lt;br&gt;
Isaiah 55 (KJV):&lt;br&gt;

&lt;sup&gt;8&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;sup&gt;9&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.&lt;br&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;&lt;sup&gt;6&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;sup&gt;15&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;sup&gt;16&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;sup&gt;17&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;&lt;sup&gt;18&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;Come now, and let us reason together, saith the &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Lord&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;sup&gt;19&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:&lt;br&gt;
&lt;sup&gt;20&amp;nbsp;&lt;/sup&gt;But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The fact that God wants to reason with such a rebellious people is to be remembered.&amp;nbsp; Look at some of our laws today, and how rebellious as a nation against God&amp;rsquo;s ways we still are. God wants to reason with us. God wants us to be well.&amp;nbsp; He wants our souls to be well. Love that song &amp;ldquo;It is well with my soul&amp;rdquo;. He wants our minds to be well. Notice verse 6. No soundness of mine when in rebellion to Almighty God, instead wounds, and open sores which can be evident in our behavior.&amp;nbsp; Barnes&amp;rsquo; notes on the Bible says: &amp;ldquo;Putrifying sores - The Hebrew rather means recent, or fresh wounds; or rather, perhaps, a running wound, which continues fresh and open; which cannot be cicatrized, or dried up. The Septuagint renders it elegantly &amp;pi;&amp;lambda;&amp;eta;&amp;gamma;&amp;eta;́ &amp;phi;&amp;lambda;&amp;gamma;&amp;mu;&amp;alpha;&amp;iota;́&amp;nu;&amp;omicron;&amp;upsilon;&amp;sigma;&amp;alpha; plēgē flegmainous, a swelling, or tumefying wound. The expression is applied usually to inflammations, as of boils, or to the swelling of the tonsils, etc&amp;rdquo;.&lt;br&gt;
I take that as meaning something that just won&amp;rsquo;t heal. God says let&amp;rsquo;s reason together. He wants to heal us. He has given us a sound mind when we go to him, unafraid. He has made a way to take shame away.&lt;br&gt;
2 Timothy 1:7&lt;br&gt;
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.&lt;br&gt;
Romans 5:5&lt;br&gt;
And Hope that makes not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us&lt;br&gt;
Clarkes commentary says:&lt;br&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;ldquo;And hope maketh not ashamed - A hope that is not rationally founded will have its expectation cut off; and then shame and confusion will be the portion of its possessor. But our hope is of a different kind; it is founded on the goodness and truth of God; and our religious experience shows us that we have not misapplied it; nor exercised it on wrong or improper objects.&amp;rdquo;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
There is no shame in living for Jesus.&amp;nbsp; There is shame and many times sickness when we do &amp;ldquo;dumb&amp;rdquo; things, but God is there like he was for the people of Judah and Israel. He is calling us to repentance, he is loving us with an everlasting love and no matter what it is he longs for us to come to him.&amp;nbsp; He wants to makes us whole. He desires to fill us with good things. I want to have a sound mind, and a soul that is secure and I know God does what he says he will do. Thankful for our Great Physician who won&amp;rsquo;t cancel appointments, and is able, and actually does see us at all times!&lt;br&gt;

<title>Are you called to work on the Sabbath?</title>

I was looking over Luke Chapters 13 and 14.&amp;nbsp; It was interesting to me that Jesus used illustrations with donkey or oxen both times. In chapter 13 it says Jesus set a woman free from the bondage of Satan. She was bound by an infirmity for 18 years.&amp;nbsp; Jesus said satan had bound her and JESUS CALLED OUT TO HER to come to him.&amp;nbsp; She must have gone over to him because he laid his hands on her and immediately she was made straight. When JESUS TOUCHES some-one THINGS HAPPEN!&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Jesus was in the synagogue and the Pharisee leader was not happy about this healing.&amp;nbsp; He goes as far as to say &amp;ldquo;There are 6 days in which men ought to work, therefore come and be healed on them and not on the Sabbath&amp;rdquo;.&amp;nbsp; Who is working when a healing takes place? These men really believed it was about them.&amp;nbsp; HEALING COMES FROM THE GREAT PHYSICIAN HIMSELF, HOWEVER HE CHOOSES TO DO IT!&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Jesus reminds them that they loosen their donkey and oxen (livestock), on the Sabbath to give them rest, but they are not concerned with people being &amp;ldquo;set free&amp;rdquo; on this day.&amp;nbsp; They are more concerned with their own needs.&amp;nbsp; If the animals don&amp;rsquo;t get that they may not be useful. Are they not concerned with people and the needs that ought to be met? No matter what the day, why would you allow a person to remain bound?&amp;nbsp; I find 18 years a long&amp;nbsp; time for this woman to be stooped over and &amp;ldquo;bound.&amp;rdquo; It doesn&amp;rsquo;t matter how long you&amp;rsquo;ve been bound by self, the world, or satan, WHEN JESUS CALLS, WILL YOU GO TO HIM?&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
In chapter 14 Jesus goes to the house of one of the rulers of Pharisees, to eat bread on the Sabbath.&amp;nbsp; Instead of the usual feasting that takes place the Sabbath would be where just bread was eaten, to cut down on the amount of work that would go into preparing a meal.&lt;br&gt;
Jesus was being closely watched.&amp;nbsp; Don&amp;rsquo;t think for a minute, you, who claim Jesus as Lord of your life are not being closely watched.&amp;nbsp; People will watch you for one of 2 reasons&lt;br&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;To learn from you the ways of God or&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;To use against you in your walk with God.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
There was a man in attendance that had dropsy. We are not told if this man was invited or not. Some think he may not have been, but may have been in the courtyard.&amp;nbsp; Dropsy was an unnatural accumulation of fluid in parts of the body.&amp;nbsp; I was thinking of all the diuretics used today when people have fluid retention. Fluid retention can be a sign of congestive heart failure. Sometimes swelling occurs because the body has inflammation which can be caused by different things. An injury causes inflammation.&amp;nbsp; I believe dropsy can be compared to the person who has gained 60 pounds or more due to fluid retention.&amp;nbsp; They become large.&lt;br&gt;
Jesus asked the lawyers and Pharisees if it was lawful to heal on the Sabbath.&amp;nbsp; They did not reply. Sometimes scripture will say &amp;ldquo;and Jesus knowing their hearts&amp;rdquo;&amp;hellip;etc, and it doesn&amp;rsquo;t say anything like this here.&amp;nbsp; It says they kept quiet. Now that is something I can learn from this Pharisee and lawyers. &amp;nbsp;There are times I just need to remain quiet!&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Not knowing if the lawyers and Pharisees knew this man personally, but if they did, of course they would want him healed.&amp;nbsp; The woman at the synagogue did not seem to be known personally so maybe that is why it was easy for the Pharisee in chapter 13 to not care so much if she was set free or not.&lt;br&gt;
Jesus, doing what Jesus does, TOOK THE MAN, HEALED HIM, AND LET HIM GO.&amp;nbsp; The example of the donkey and the ox come up again.&amp;nbsp; This time not about setting them free and unbinding them, but about doing what it takes, immediately, when they have fallen into a dangerous situation (a pit).&amp;nbsp; Jesus knows these men would not hesitate to pull them out of the pit on the Sabbath.&amp;nbsp; Again this is their personal property. What about people?&amp;nbsp; No matter the day, Sabbath or not, you may be asked to join Jesus in His Work, as he sets a soul free (unbind, as the woman in the synagogue was), or help a fellow worker when they become so full of &amp;ldquo;stuff&amp;rdquo; &amp;nbsp;they fall.&amp;nbsp; Never forget it is truly God who does the work and because of Jesus Christ we are able to work WITH HIM by the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Remember to watch others as they are working for Christ for reason number one to learn from them, not to use against them. Let&amp;rsquo;s help one another stay out of a pit.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;

<title>Can you really justify yourself?</title>

&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
Note: I hope you will read 1 peter 1:1-21 after this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&amp;nbsp;In Luke 10:25-29 we read about a lawyer (expert in the law), asking Jesus what he should do to inherit eternal life.&amp;nbsp; Jesus, knowing he was an expert in the law, asked him what was written there in and how he was reading it.&amp;nbsp; Of course the lawyer had the right answer.&amp;nbsp; Jesus went on to tell him to apply what he said to his life.&amp;nbsp; Verse 29 says the lawyer wanted to &amp;ldquo;justify himself&amp;rdquo; so he asked Jesus another question (read Luke 10:30-37)&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Luke 16:15 Jesus points out those people who want to &amp;ldquo;justify themselves&amp;rdquo; before men, stating God knows their hearts.&amp;nbsp; The thing these men highly esteemed was riches and temporal good things.&amp;nbsp; Verse 16 talks of the law and prophets before John.&amp;nbsp; Now that the Kingdom of God is being preached, everyone is pressing into it.&amp;nbsp; Matthew 11:12-13 talks about the Kingdom of Heaven suffering violence and the violent taking it by force.&amp;nbsp; From looking into some commentaries (Matthew Henry), it speaks about violence meaning a strength, a vigor, and earnestness of desire and endeavor of those who followed the ministry of John.&amp;nbsp; They were willing to give up the indulgences, or anything else to press on, or press past the crowds going the opposite way.&amp;nbsp; They would fight for salvation and the ways of God.&amp;nbsp; It seems hard to those watching them.&amp;nbsp; It goes against the here and now.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The Pharisees wanted to justify themselves by following laws.&amp;nbsp; Verse 14 says they were lovers of money and derided (turned their nose at) Jesus.&amp;nbsp; It&amp;rsquo;s so much harder to follow all the rules and trying to justify myself by doing them, than it is to accept Jesus and allow HIM to justify me before God.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
Warning! Don&amp;rsquo;t think Gods law doesn&amp;rsquo;t exist today.&amp;nbsp; Jesus said in verse 17 &amp;ldquo;and it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one title of the law to fail&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
Because of the law, I can see my need for a savior.&amp;nbsp; Because of my savior, I have a need, desire violent pressing to obey what the Bible says.&amp;nbsp; God sees the heart.&amp;nbsp; My prayer is that&amp;nbsp; when and if I am living my life to &amp;lsquo;justify myself&amp;rdquo; before men that God will reveal that to me and call it out to my heart.&lt;br&gt;
I am so thankful God gave his son Jesus Christ to &amp;ldquo;justify all&amp;rsquo; who will accept Him.&amp;nbsp; Can you testify you are justified in Christ Jesus?&lt;br&gt;

When I was younger it was fun to read horoscopes and even pretend to call back friends dying relatives.&amp;nbsp; My brother would be the &amp;ldquo;dead&amp;rdquo; that knocked on the garage window as I was calling out to the dead relative of a friend.&amp;nbsp; Keep in mind we were around 8 or 10 years old.&amp;nbsp; We used to watch a show called The 6&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; sense and of course there was Dark Shadows.&amp;nbsp; None of the programs, from what I can remember were really scary or gruesome (like today).&lt;br&gt;
This was a game we did and the kids in the garage at some point, maybe months later realized it was my brother who was making the noises.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
As I got older, my dad would say that horoscopes and fortune tellers were something we should stay away from.&amp;nbsp; He never gave us a biblical reason.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
As I have attended Bible study classes, there have been passages that talk about this very thing.&lt;br&gt;
In 1 Chronicles 10:13 -14&amp;nbsp; It says Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord, he did not keep the word of the Lord and even consulted a medium for guidance, and did not inquire of the Lord. So the Lord put him to death and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
Saul ended up killing himself when he was injured in battle against the Philistines. He did not want them to torture him and his armor-bearer wouldn&amp;rsquo;t kill him so he fell on his own sword.&amp;nbsp; It was if he had fallen on his own sword the day he met with the medium.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I always wondered where the Bible said not to seek mediums, or have tattoos.&amp;nbsp; In Leviticus 19 these things, along with others are stated.&amp;nbsp; Leviticus was written for the ethical and moral instruction for the nation of Israel.&amp;nbsp; Some things from this chapter:&lt;br&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Do not practice divination or sorcery, don&amp;rsquo;t cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard. Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on your selves, I am the Lord. Do not degrade your daughter by making her a prostitute or the land will turn to prostitution and be filled with wickedness. Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary, I am the Lord. Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Notice how many times God states the fact that he is LORD.&amp;nbsp; The point here is that all the above mentioned takes the focus off of who is Lord.&amp;nbsp; I think most of us would like to know our future at some point. I don&amp;rsquo;t want that curiosity to kill me, if not physically but spiritually have that separation from God my Father by stepping into something I have been warned not to do. Adam and Eve did not physically die the moment they sinned, but separation happened.&amp;nbsp; Sin separates us from God.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I have seen some beautiful tattoos while attending soul fest.&amp;nbsp; I was considering getting a small one of the &amp;nbsp;JesusRx logo but after reading this, I will not get one.&amp;nbsp; It really would not please the Lord to do it.&amp;nbsp; I want to please God.&amp;nbsp; Will I go to hell if I get a tattoo, or even seek a medium? No I would not because I have received Jesus Christ, the gift of God.&amp;nbsp; I know his blood was shed for those in this world wanting to receive cleansing for their sin. I will not perish, but spend eternity in HIS presence.&amp;nbsp; The word of God WILL change the way you think.&amp;nbsp; The Love of Jesus Christ will change you, and the things you seek after.&amp;nbsp; As you seek the Lord your God and come to know his ways you will gladly with a whole heart submit to those ways, no matter what the world says.&amp;nbsp; You won&amp;rsquo;t be able to help it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
As an 8 year old child, I had no idea what I was doing went against God. It was just a game. Life is not a game. It&amp;rsquo;s real and where we spend eternity is real.&lt;br&gt;
Leviticus is from the Old Testament and today we have the New Testament with redemption from Jesus Christ. Sin separates us from God, so it is important to confess those sins and God is faithful to forgive, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.&amp;nbsp; He never left Adam and Eve, and he never leaves us.&amp;nbsp; He supplied a covering for them,&amp;nbsp; in the garden after they sinned and he will continue to supply his covering to us ( grace and mercy) daily as we seek him.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
Be blessed today and look to the Lord your God for your covering and future, knowing the future is secure for you in Christ Jesus.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;

<title>How do you choose your Physician</title>

Years ago, growing up your family would have a &amp;ldquo;family doctor&amp;rdquo; and as you grew older you would use that same doctor for your medical needs.&amp;nbsp; The family doctor would get to know you and your family through the years and treat everyone. You would not see a pediatrician (for children), one who specialized in geriatrics (the elderly), lung specialist, orthopedic (deals with skeletal, muscle, joints, ligaments), oncologists (cancer specialist), Naturopathic physician, or many of the other specialists we now have access to.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The family doctor would know a lot about your family. They would know about stress in your life, how the kids were doing, how your diet &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size: 12px;&quot;&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:18px;&quot;&gt;was, even the environment of your living conditio&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:16px;&quot;&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:18px;&quot;&gt;ns.&amp;nbsp; Maybe you h&lt;/span&gt;ave a family doctor like that today.&lt;br&gt;

When moving to a new area you may have gotten a referral from your previous doctor, or asked others whom you met, who they use for their medical needs. &amp;nbsp;In today&amp;rsquo;s society many doctors work for companies and they &amp;ldquo;share&amp;rdquo; patients.&amp;nbsp; Today, insurance plays a huge role in choosing a physician. Some people, upon diagnoses, will travel miles to get the best ranked physician for the best treatment.&amp;nbsp; I haven&amp;rsquo;t met anyone who wants to be the surgeons&amp;rsquo; &amp;ldquo;first surgery&amp;rdquo; patient.&amp;nbsp; We want some-one who has performed a lot of surgeries, and who is so sure of anatomy that it would be unlikely they would make an error.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Today, like never before, we have access to medical information.&amp;nbsp; This can be frustrating for some physicians because patients often come in and try to tell the physician how to treat them.&amp;nbsp; Some people choose their physician if they can get &amp;nbsp;medications or treatments they request. You may have seen, in many examining rooms ,the notice about not giving antibiotics for viral infections. They do no good, when not needed.&lt;br&gt;
So, I ask again, how do YOU choose a physician? You want the BEST. You want one that will be caring as they apply the knowledge and experience in their field.&amp;nbsp; The reason for specialist is because the amount of knowledge in the medical field, as in other fields, is so huge.&lt;br&gt;
Some-one shared what is talked about in Romans 10:8-15,with me.&amp;nbsp; (the Gospel of Peace)&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Some-one referred me to the Great Physician, years ago. &amp;nbsp;The Great Physician, Jesus Christ, knows our anatomy VERY WELL.&amp;nbsp; He is our creator.&amp;nbsp; I was a child when I was introduced to the Great Physician.&amp;nbsp; He had no &amp;ldquo;bed side manner&amp;rdquo;, as far as I knew.&amp;nbsp; He was ALL BUSINESS, laying out do&amp;rsquo;s and don&amp;rsquo;ts.&amp;nbsp; As I got to know the Great Physician better, I realized I was wrong in my thinking. He truly cared about me and loved me enough to give everything to make sure I would live eternally. &amp;nbsp;(1 Corinthians 15:1-4).&lt;br&gt;
When you know someone who is sick, you want them well.&amp;nbsp; When someone is dying you want life for them. The best thing you can do for them is refer them to the Great Physician.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
In reading Luke 4:14-30 Jesus reads about himself in the synagogue. The people loved hearing him. In verse 23 we read where it said they will surely say this proverb &amp;ldquo;Physician heal thyself&amp;rdquo; (Luke 23:35 fulfilled). He goes on to tell them that he will not do the healing miracles in his hometown because no prophet is accepted in his own country.&amp;nbsp; They wanted the benefits of his healings in their town, but they did not want to receive him as a way of forgiveness of their sins or as the way to God. This was evident in the anger that arose against Jesus. (Sounds like what is going on in our towns, cities and government today, even in some of our homes. We want blessings from God but without reverence for his Almighty Power and Word) OUCH, that is for me too!&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
When you refer someone to the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, keep in mind&amp;nbsp; they may be wanting to receive only &amp;nbsp;physical or material.&amp;nbsp; If they do not receive what they think God should be giving them (he has no bed side manner), they may get angry, just as the people in Luke did. Have you ever been disappointed with God?&lt;br&gt;
God&amp;rsquo;s love for us is unending and he wants each one of us to receive Jesus Christ so we can have the promise of life. This is shown in Paul&amp;rsquo;s words in 2 Timothy 1:1 when he says, Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the PROMISE OF LIFE WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS&amp;hellip;.(then he goes on to tell Timothy some wonderful things.)&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
What I love is that the Great Physician knows all physicians and we are able to seek the Great Physician first to guide us to proper treatments.&amp;nbsp; Unfortunately not all physicians and health care providers know Him. This really can be a problem when their prescription goes against the prescription of the Great Physician. &amp;nbsp;I would love to have examples from you in this area in the comment section.&lt;br&gt;
You will NEVER BE WRONG in referring others to Jesus Christ, the Great Physician.&lt;br&gt;

&lt;div&gt;The last blog I wrote about Elizabeth the mother of John. I couldn&amp;#39;t help but go back to what Elizabeth and Zachariah were told about their son. You can read the story in Luke chapters 1-3 ( and I hope you do).&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Elizabeth and Zachariah were told what to name their baby and of his being filled, even at birth, with the Holy Spirit.The naming of a child in the Jewish custom is to use a family name, and John was not a family name.&amp;nbsp; The name was to be John, which was questioned by those around them when John was born. What John would do was laid out before him. He was brought to earth for a specific purpose.&amp;nbsp; We are all born for a specific purpose, not just the &amp;quot;Bible people&amp;quot;.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The 5 things I read that John would do was&lt;br&gt;
1. Help many people of Israel return to the Lord their God.&lt;br&gt;
2. Go before the Lord in Spirit and power like Elijah&lt;br&gt;
3. Make peace between parents and children&lt;br&gt;
4. Bring those not obeying God back to the right way of thinking&lt;br&gt;
5. Prepare them for the coming of the Lord from his teaching in number 4&lt;br&gt;
No where does it say at this point that he would be beheaded. Who on earth knew that in fulfilling his calling his life would end that way? His parents weren&amp;#39;t warned.&amp;nbsp; What if they knew?&amp;nbsp; Zachariah and Elizabeth served and loved the Lord, so I want to believe that they would&amp;#39;ve been happy for his calling no matter how his life would end.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
In looking at the 5 things isn&amp;#39;t that what Christians want to do? Don&amp;#39;t we want people to have a heart prepared for the coming of Jesus when he returns.? Wouldn&amp;#39;t we like to be able to bring peace between parents and children. So many of us know and have experienced the heartache of being separated in heart and mind from our children. God used this example many times with Israel and the separation they created from disobedience. How it hurt God, but he continued and continues to love to this very day.&amp;nbsp; (Jeremiah 31:18-20)&lt;br&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
John&amp;#39;s message didn&amp;#39;t change depending on who he was talking to. He didn&amp;#39;t back down in calling sin, sin. It didn&amp;#39;t matter if it was a person in authority, what is right or wrong in the sight of God doesn&amp;#39;t change depending on who you are or your status, customs or rituals in this world. The Bible tells us in several passages he is not a respector of persons. (Romans 2:11,&amp;nbsp; Acts 10:34-37 , 2 Peter 8:9) and we are warned about not showing favortism (James 2:8-9).&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
2 Peter 2:8-9 tells me that God doesn&amp;#39;t care who you are, what you&amp;#39;ve done, he&amp;#39;s sent his Son for you. His desire is that none be lost to the enemy. He waits patiently for people to come.&amp;nbsp; I don&amp;#39;t know how much time people will have to come to Jesus and his ways.&amp;nbsp; Jesus will return and I hope you don&amp;#39;t wait last minute.&amp;nbsp; The time spent&amp;nbsp; getting to know the Lord through all the trials (and believe me that is when you will get to know him best) makes life worth living.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I&amp;#39;m not told what will happen to me or my loved ones as they fulfill their calling.&amp;nbsp; I have met parents who have children in other countries serving as missionary&amp;#39;s. They feel such pride that their child was chosen for that mission.&amp;nbsp; They realize the dangers that could come upon their loved ones, but know that the work they were called to do is never in vain.&amp;nbsp; Not everyone will be called to a foreign country mission field.&amp;nbsp; I know that most of us won&amp;#39;t be beheaded for following the call God has given us, so what are you waiting for?&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;

<title>SHAME:  what can be done about it?</title>

Shame.&amp;nbsp; This is what Elizabeth felt by not being able to have children. In todays culture it isn&amp;#39;t a disgrace if you can&amp;#39;t have or do not want to have children.&lt;br&gt;
Elizabeth, being Jewish, was looked down upon because she was barren, even thought of having hidden sin and that is why some thought her womb was not open to having children. To have children was considered a great blessing, as it should be today.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Elizabeth did not have any fertility drugs available to her in those days.&amp;nbsp; I used to see women come month after month to the pharmacy obtaining fertility medications in hopes that one day they would be able to hold a baby in their arms. Many times miscarriages would happen and discouragement would set in. They would cry for the little life inside that they were unable to do anything about. Many women would stop the therapy and within a year or two become pregnant.&amp;nbsp; Some would openly talk about how the Lord blessed them with such a beautiful gift.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
In Chapter one of Luke we are told that Elizabeth and her husband Zechariah served the Lord faithfully for many years.&amp;nbsp; When an angel appeared to tell them that Elizabeth would conceive the reaction seemed full of doubt. This was not something humanely possible. The angel told the future parents what to name the child and let them know how he would bless others and prepare the way for the Savior.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Elizabeth, in&amp;nbsp; verse 25 says &amp;quot;Look what the Lord has done for me! My people were ashamed of me, but now the Lord had taken away my shame&amp;quot; (NCV), the ESV says&amp;quot;&amp;quot; thus the Lord had done for me in the days when he looked on me to take away my reproach among people, and the KJV says&amp;quot; thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me to take away my reproach among men&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; Elizabeth acknowledged the Lord in removing her shame.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Looking up the word shame in the topical index of my NKJV bible it says it is a feeling of guilt.&amp;nbsp; Are we not guilty of many things? Could we ever keep all the laws of the land? Do I ever go over the speed limit?&amp;nbsp; I am guilty of breaking the law.&amp;nbsp; No one was ever able to keep the 10 commandments. We are guilty, there is shame upon us all. What have you done to remove shame?&amp;nbsp; There is one who gave EVERYTHING to take our shame (guilt) from us. Jesus, crucified on the cross took all our imperfections, onto his perfect being.&amp;nbsp; This allows us to be made perfect before God. (See John chapter 3)&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Let&amp;#39;s take this one step further. In 1 Peter 2:5-10 we see where it talks about&amp;nbsp; those who believe will no longer be put to shame.&amp;nbsp; True believers will not be ashamed of Christ and what he has done for them. The religious people of the day were so hung up on the law and rules and regulations that they could not bring spiritual sacrifices to God but only physical. Are you getting hung up on &amp;quot;religion&amp;quot; and do and don&amp;#39;t? Have you allowed God to take your shame (guilt) by receiving his son Jesus Christ? When we live under guilt and shame it&amp;nbsp; causes stress and anxiety. Let God enter, so you, like Elizabeth can say &amp;quot;the Lord dealt with me and took away my reproach, removed my shame&amp;quot;.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Others looked on Elizabeth with shame, not God.&amp;nbsp; She was walking with him (had a relationship with him already) and he blessed her immensely, in his time. Rest in the Lord&amp;#39;s timing for your life.&amp;nbsp; Be anxious for nothing. Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. Casting all your care upon him because he cares for you.&amp;nbsp; (1 Peter 5:6-7)&lt;br&gt;

I have a friend who came to help me out at one of the shows Jesus Rx attended.&amp;nbsp; I have gone to several shows and get many different kind of reactions. We have a banner that says Jesus Rx and shows our product.&amp;nbsp; We put a medicine chest on display showing our 12 &amp;quot;prescriptions&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; I will go over the &amp;quot;medicine&amp;quot; and compare the product to getting a &amp;quot;prescription&amp;quot; at the pharmacy.&amp;nbsp; I let the public know that I am a pharmacist and after 23 years of working in pharmacy and seeing more and more new drugs coming out on the market,&amp;nbsp; I would not take half of them.&amp;nbsp; I had to do something else.&amp;nbsp; The vendors I am next to get to hear me explain what Jesus Rx is 100 times (sometimes).&amp;nbsp; God has always placed me in wonderful spots to enable me to meet such wonderful people.&amp;nbsp; We share many things by the end of the show.&amp;nbsp; I have to admit we laugh a LOT!&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
I tell others about the mustard man and how he would ask people &amp;quot;hey you like mustard?&amp;quot; If they said yes he would say then try this.&amp;nbsp; He makes an awesome sweet and spicy mustard. It was fun watching people take a little too much and see their eyes water.&amp;nbsp; I looked at him and said &amp;quot; you ask people if they like mustard to get them to your table, should I be saying HEY, YOU LIKE JESUS?&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I met a wonderful lady named Cindy while working the deerfield fair.&amp;nbsp; We stayed in touch and she came to help me&amp;nbsp; at one of the shows near the holidays.&amp;nbsp; She would pull &amp;quot;pills&amp;quot; out and ask people to read them if they stopped by our table.&amp;nbsp; It was a differnt approach than I had. She would ask people if they &amp;quot;needed a little encouragement&amp;quot; and then tell them JesusRx could help.&amp;nbsp; She asked one woman and as the woman looked into the medicine chest her reply was &amp;quot;No, not from THAT&amp;quot;, and walked on.&amp;nbsp; Cindy looked at me and said quietly &amp;quot;OH, not from that?&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; I said that is ok Cindy, now everytime she goes to get a prescription at the pharmacy or some-one talks about encouraging words she will remember JesusRx.&amp;nbsp; I later told Cindy remember the Word of God says at THAT NAME every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. (Philippians 2:11, Romans 14:11)&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
At another show I had a woman come up and listen and then say &amp;quot;Do you REALLY sell any of these?&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; I said &amp;quot; well yes, and I will because of the wonderful things we hear of how God&amp;#39;s Word is working in peoples lives.&amp;nbsp; It isn[&amp;#39;t MY PRODUCT, it&amp;#39;s the word of God that is alive and working&amp;nbsp; and we are just another way of helping others get the word into their everyday life&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; A quiet oh as she moved on.&amp;nbsp; This fair actually took place in a church.&amp;nbsp; Not sure why but I have actually been sent an email reply from a church last year stating we wouldn&amp;#39;t be a good match for them and couldn&amp;#39;t take part in their craft fair.&amp;nbsp; I wanted to better understand why and the church fair team never responded.&amp;nbsp; I say this to encourage others.&amp;nbsp; God will open the doors. Open doors happen so HIS GLORY can go out.&amp;nbsp; The light from HIS ROOM can shine down upon the place we live. &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
You can read in Isaiah chapters 26, 54 and 58 how God increased borders. Pay special attention to 26:15, 54:2 nd 58:11.&amp;nbsp; There is a time for everything as shown in Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 and the whole motive should be as Pauls motive which&amp;nbsp; can be read in Romans 10 :1-21.&amp;nbsp; The motive is&amp;nbsp; Salvation in Jesus Christ. Paul used words, but how we live is very important in showing others Christ.( 1 John 3:18) &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
We started giving out our note from the pharmacist when we attend&amp;nbsp; shows.&amp;nbsp; Many people take them.&amp;nbsp; This explains very simply how to get to know the&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;Great Physician&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The last conversation I want to leave you with is the one I had with a very nice man.&amp;nbsp; His wife was at the booth next to mine looking at pet supplements.&amp;nbsp; He was curious and I told him what we were about.&amp;nbsp; He said he commended me for doing this and I didn&amp;#39;t have to say anymore. It wasn&amp;#39;t for him. He said &amp;quot; I bet&lt;br&gt;
when you talk to people you get a lot of glazed over looks as they listen to you.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; My interpretation was &amp;quot;no one really cares about what you have to say about this, this just bores people, they get &amp;quot;glazed over&amp;quot;, and aren&amp;#39;t listneing to you.&amp;nbsp; I knew that is exactly what he meant.&amp;nbsp; I said (thank you God for your words!), NO ACTUALLY I don&amp;#39;t.&amp;nbsp; People are very interested, when I talk&amp;nbsp; to them.&amp;nbsp; What I get are some that just smile and don&amp;#39;t come over and then there are always those that see the sign and turn the other way.&amp;nbsp; What I didn&amp;#39;t say was read 1 Corinthians 2:14 sir to understand yourself better.&amp;nbsp; This talks about the natural man not being able to understand the Spirit of God.&amp;nbsp; I wasn&amp;#39;t supposed to say that.&amp;nbsp; I thank God for allowing me to know when others are trying to provoke me and only because of Christ can I not be moved to anger.&amp;nbsp; When other vendors witness things I just tell them I have a prescription for &amp;quot;Anger&amp;quot;. They laugh.&lt;br&gt;

God brings people to our table who are searching, we gladly recieve them and then we have those who come to kill, steal and destroy, and we gladly rebuke that in Jesus Name, where we are able to receive Power from on high to continue to do what we are doing.&amp;nbsp; Thank you Father God for making a way for the world. We are thankful for all those standing in prayer with us!&lt;br&gt;

Do you ever find joy when others make mistakes or when they seem to fail in short of what was expected of them? &amp;nbsp;I have.&lt;br&gt;
You can look at this in 2 ways.&amp;nbsp; You can think that you aren&amp;rsquo;t as bad as the other person because you didn&amp;rsquo;t make THOSE mistakes. You think it makes you look better, but that kind of thinking is prideful and that is when we are told men fall. &amp;nbsp;(Proverbs 16:18, 1 Corinthians 10:12)&lt;br&gt;

You can be joyful in some-one else&amp;rsquo;s mistake or error because it may be the example you need so you don&amp;rsquo;t repeat the same mistake.&amp;nbsp; It is true joy to have some-one warn you about the mistakes they made and not want you to do the same.&amp;nbsp; It is love that says &amp;ldquo;I don&amp;rsquo;t want you to suffer in the way I did because my choices were wrong&amp;rdquo;. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It is embarrassing when we mess up, but you may need to put that aside to help others.&amp;nbsp; 1 Corinthians 10:11-13 warns us of Israel&amp;rsquo;s history and how it is an example for us. It says that we WILL all face temptations (Jesus did), and we will be provided a way out.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Are you a true disciple of Jesus Christ?&amp;nbsp; Let&amp;rsquo;s take a look at the disciples as they got to physically walk with God.&amp;nbsp; We have Peter who denied Christ, not once but 3 times , (Matthew 22:54-62)&amp;nbsp; (Guilty).&amp;nbsp; Jesus asked them to pray and they fell asleep (Matthew26:36-45) (Guilty).&amp;nbsp; They didn&amp;rsquo;t understand the warning about the Pharisees feeding them false doctrine.&amp;nbsp; They thought Jesus was talking about physical food. &amp;nbsp;I have been guilty of misunderstanding the heart of Jesus. &amp;nbsp;(Mark 8:14-21)&lt;br&gt;
Jesus was in the boat with them and as the storm approached and became stronger so did their fear.&amp;nbsp; Jesus was there and fear still entered them. (Matthew 8:23-27) (Guilty, guilty, guilty!) .&lt;br&gt;
James and John asked to sit at the right and left of Jesus in his glory. Jesus tells them you don&amp;rsquo;t know what you are asking. &amp;nbsp;Read Mark 10:35-44 to get the whole picture here.&amp;nbsp; This request by James and John started arguments among the disciples.&amp;nbsp; Jesus goes on to explain what it means to be great.&amp;nbsp; It is about service to one another.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&amp;nbsp;I remember years back some ladies got together to wash feet.&amp;nbsp; Now I never used to get pedicures so I wasn&amp;rsquo;t comfortable having some-one wash my feet.&amp;nbsp; I can wash theirs but let some-one wash mine?&amp;nbsp; I was reminded of Peter, the disciple that didn&amp;rsquo;t want Jesus to wash his feet.&amp;nbsp; (John 13:1-17)&amp;nbsp; I can serve others but let them serve me? THAT WAS HARD.&amp;nbsp; I heard a preacher talk about this very thing. &amp;nbsp;About how pride is what could be keeping us from letting others serve or help us. (Guilty).&lt;br&gt;
&amp;nbsp;I am thankful for the examples of these disciples, the ones walking (physically) with Jesus. It does bring joy to me to know I have these examples to learn from.&amp;nbsp; The disciples seemed confused by the actions and parables of Jesus.&amp;nbsp; This can happen, sometimes because of a lack of faith (can&amp;rsquo;t physically see what I think I should), lack of understanding of Gods attributes and also distractions of the world. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Let&amp;rsquo;s quickly look at John the Baptist.&amp;nbsp; He knew he was not worthy to baptize Jesus, but that was what he was supposed to do. (Matthew 3:13-17)&amp;nbsp; What if he refused? I don&amp;rsquo;t even want to think about that one.&amp;nbsp; John had a specific purpose and was an instrument in God calling down on Jesus saying &amp;ldquo;this is my son in whom I am well pleased&amp;rdquo;.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Can I get a WOW on this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The disciples followed Jesus till the end the best they could.&amp;nbsp; There was one that was not a true follower. He was so good at deceiving the others, but Jesus knew the whole time what would take place. I find joy in knowing that God will separate those out. &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
I find joy in knowing that Jesus prayed for his disciples and prays for us.&amp;nbsp; He knows our weaknesses, continues to love and forgive as we continue to walk with Him.&amp;nbsp; My prayer is that you will find Joy daily, not just at Thanksgiving time.&amp;nbsp; Thanksgiving can actually be a lonely time for many, so please join me in prayer for lonely hearts that they may be filled with the Love of God.&amp;nbsp; No matter what my circumstance, because of Jesus Christ, I pray I will always be thankful, full of hope and most of all content. <title>The &quot;Sound&quot; of PEACE</title>

Praise God the Father whom all blessings flow,&lt;br&gt;

He leadeth me by the still waters where I find Peace and Rest.&lt;br&gt;
The water there no longer rages or has the strength to carry me away.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I sit quietly and listen.&lt;br&gt;
What do I hear?&lt;br&gt;
&amp;quot;PEACE&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;
as I trust God.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I step into the still water, allowing my body to float there, to rest there.&lt;br&gt;
I close my eyes and wonder if everyone has had a chance to experience the&lt;br&gt;
&amp;quot;SOUND OF PEACE&amp;quot;.&lt;br&gt;

I believe we are all to familiar with the sound of war;&lt;br&gt;
all the battles of this life&lt;br&gt;
seem to scream so loud.&lt;br&gt;
Disappointment and dreams, shattered.&lt;br&gt;

I ask myself, &amp;quot;Is this the battle I was made for?&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;
I am told to put on the whold armor of God that will protect me.&lt;br&gt;
The battle truly is not mine, but belongs to the Lord.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
My protection draws nigh as I am lead to the still water.&lt;br&gt;
My shepherd leads me there in THE MIDST of the battle.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
QUIET, REFRESHING, NO FEAR OF DROWING.&lt;br&gt;
I sit after coming out of the water, RENEWED, CLEANSED AND PEACEFUL.&lt;/div&gt;

<title>ARE YOU SATISFIED?</title>

&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:14px;&quot;&gt;There are so many versions of the Bible and I hear from time to time how the King James is the authority and should be used when reading or studying God&amp;#39;s Word.&amp;nbsp; If one of my loved ones won&amp;#39;t read the Bible at all because it&amp;#39;s the KJV, but will read NIV daily, should I be upset? I would not be upset I would be praising God they are in His Word.&amp;nbsp; We have several versions in our home. I compare different versions as I study and it has been interesting to me how this has opened my heart to understanding God&amp;#39;s Word.&amp;nbsp; I really can&amp;#39;t remember when this has caused true confusion, but has allowed me to dig deeper in finding truth.&lt;br&gt;
I&amp;#39;m looking at the Max Lucado Devotional Bible which is the New Century Version. In Mark 8:8 it says &amp;quot;All the people ate and were satisfied. Then his followers filled seven baskets with leftover food.&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;
The KJV says &amp;quot;so they ate and were filled and they took up seven large baskets of leftover fragments&amp;quot;.&lt;br&gt;
NIV says &amp;quot;&lt;span class=&quot;text Mark-8-8&quot; id=&quot;en-NIV-24509&quot;&gt;The people ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.&lt;/span&gt;&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The crowd came to hear Jesus and be near him.&amp;nbsp; They stayed where he was for 3 days.&amp;nbsp; They were being filled with the very words of Jesus. Jesus knew they needed to be taken care of physically.&amp;nbsp; He was concerned with their need to eat. It doesn&amp;#39;t tell us if the people were complaining. It sounds like they were just eager to be in the presence of Jesus.&amp;nbsp; How many times am I guilty of thinking more of my physical needs then my spiritual needs?&amp;nbsp; God KNOWS of my physical needs and will ALWAYS provide.&amp;nbsp; Yes, I sitll need to go get food, cook it, exercise,&amp;nbsp; see doctors certain times, etc, but I also need to be filled with the Words of God.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I love where it says &amp;quot;all the people at and were SATISFIED&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; That is exactly how it feels when you eat in the presence of God.&amp;nbsp; He SATISFIED ALL THINGS WITH HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.&lt;br&gt;

Praying you will be blessed today as you sit the the presence of Jesus, being satisfied because of what he has done for you!&lt;br&gt;

<title>He LOVES me</title>

&lt;div&gt;We are celebrating LOVE this month at JesusRx.&amp;nbsp; For those of you who do not know we highlight one &amp;quot;prescription&amp;quot; every month. We post a blog by the founder and she is trying to find others that want&amp;nbsp; to write and share something that will show God IS IN&amp;nbsp; our everyday life.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I am so happy to be celebrating 23 years of marriage at the end of this month.&amp;nbsp; I started thinking about&amp;nbsp; my love for my husband and how it has grown over those years.&amp;nbsp; Some of those years were difficult, especially the 1&lt;sup&gt;st&lt;/sup&gt; one.&amp;nbsp; I wanted to share and compare some of the things about our marriage with how I believe God has shown himself to me through His Word.&amp;nbsp; Hope you enjoy this.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
My husband proposed to me after 3 months of meeting me.&amp;nbsp; I thought he was just talking about getting married some-day and to some-one, not to me at this point.&amp;nbsp; HOW COULD HE? When he explained he wanted to marry me, I said &amp;nbsp;&amp;ldquo; I really don&amp;rsquo;t know you that well yet, but maybe&amp;rdquo;.&amp;nbsp; He came to the house the next day with a ring.&amp;nbsp; We were engaged.&amp;nbsp; (I obviously got to know him well enough over the next 10 months)&lt;br&gt;
In 1 John 4:19 it says &amp;ldquo;we love Him because He first loved us.&amp;rdquo;&amp;nbsp; I guess that&amp;rsquo;s kind of like it was with Edward and I. &amp;nbsp;I loved him because he first loved me.&lt;br&gt;
My husband isn&amp;rsquo;t one who gives details, just the basics.&amp;nbsp; He isn&amp;rsquo;t a talker, he&amp;rsquo;s more of a thinker. He likes quiet times and places.&amp;nbsp; I, on the other hand, sometimes go on and on about things.&amp;nbsp; I need to think more about what I say. ANYWAY, I started to think about God and how he doesn&amp;rsquo;t give details to me about my life. I have to thank my husband for showing me it&amp;rsquo;s &amp;nbsp;ok and I WILL SURVIVE without &amp;ldquo;details&amp;rdquo;.&amp;nbsp; I am told what I need to be told.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; A big example from God&amp;rsquo;s word is&amp;nbsp; from Matthew 22:37 &amp;nbsp;Love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul, and with all your mind. Where&amp;rsquo;s the details??&amp;nbsp; Not needed .&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;The more time I spend with my husband I get a better understanding of what he wants for us.&amp;nbsp; He has plans for us, a future and a hope for us.&amp;nbsp; We started to write goals down, something for us to visually see.&amp;nbsp; 66 books have been written for me to get &amp;ldquo;details&amp;rdquo; in some instances.&amp;nbsp; All I need to do is spend time in God&amp;rsquo;s word and the Holy Spirit will reveal what needs to be revealed as I love the Lord with all my heart, soul and mind.&lt;br&gt;
I am reminded of God&amp;rsquo;s word in Jeremiah 29:11 that says For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give hope and a future.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
My husband knows me pretty well.&amp;nbsp; Not as well as God.&amp;nbsp; I know this because Matthew 10:30 says God knows the number of hairs on our head.&amp;nbsp; My husband doesn&amp;rsquo;t know that, but he sure knows how I learn. In taking care of some business for JesusRx I did things the hard way, (my way), Ed tried to tell me something but I was too busy doing it MY WAY.&amp;nbsp; All said and done it didn&amp;rsquo;t go like I planned.&amp;nbsp; I said to Ed &amp;ldquo;why didn&amp;rsquo;t you tell me not to do that?&amp;rdquo;&amp;nbsp; His response very calmly was &amp;quot;because that&amp;rsquo;s how you learn&amp;quot;. &amp;nbsp; I was thinking SURE, LET ME FALL ON MY FACE.&amp;nbsp; He didn&amp;rsquo;t let me, I chose to do things my way and needed no help in falling on my face. There&amp;rsquo;s times I ask God &amp;ldquo; why did you let me do that?&amp;rdquo;&amp;nbsp; I then think of my husband&amp;rsquo;s answer and smile.&lt;br&gt;
The last example just happened this morning.&amp;nbsp; Two nights ago we changed email servers for JesusRx. I am not good with computers so this very simple thing started to cause me stress. I had been so busy&amp;nbsp; getting JesusRx in 2 stores, taking my daughters to appointments, &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;another appointment with Ed, I think you get the picture.&amp;nbsp; I hadn&amp;rsquo;t been home for him to show me how to do the new program.&amp;nbsp; My cousin called from out of state and since I only talk to her about 3 times a year, you can imagine the time I stayed on the phone with her.&amp;nbsp; I truly wasn&amp;rsquo;t avoiding the computer, but was enjoying our much needed visit.&amp;nbsp; The morning came, had to take my daughter to school, but tried first to look at emails.&amp;nbsp; WELL, I got upset because I didn&amp;rsquo;t understand how to delete, open , reply, etc&amp;hellip;&lt;br&gt;
This is such a simple thing for Ed.&amp;nbsp; I left the house complaining that I don&amp;rsquo;t get it. I knew he was leaving for work as soon as his toast was done.&amp;nbsp; I really did calm down before I got home.&amp;nbsp; My daughter and I laughed and prayed on the way to school.&amp;nbsp; I felt like the day was just not going to be a good one.&amp;nbsp; I kept saying &amp;ldquo;every day with Jesus is better than the day before&amp;rdquo;, a song we used to sing.&amp;nbsp; I wanted to believe it.&amp;nbsp; I pulled into the driveway and Ed was out by the truck.&amp;nbsp; HE WAITED&amp;nbsp; for me to get home so we could go over the email system.&amp;nbsp; It only took 5 minutes.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
My husband is not God, but the qualities displayed, the waiting for me hit me pretty hard this afternoon. God waits for us.&amp;nbsp; Things that are hard for me are simple for Him.&amp;nbsp; No matter what it is, He can make that mountain a mole hill, or remove it all together!!&amp;nbsp; He wants us to lean on him. I believe our husbands want us to lean on them sometimes. &amp;nbsp;They may not be able to fix things but they want us to know they are there for us. Some are better at offering comfort than others.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
In John 14:16 Jesus said, &amp;ldquo; I will pray the Father and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever. &amp;ldquo;&amp;nbsp; If you have put your trust in Jesus Christ, you have been given a comforter for all of life&amp;rsquo;s situations.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
I want to end this with praise to God my heavenly Father for marriage and for the picture of love it displays. I also want to ask you to join me in praying for women who worship alone in church week after week, read their bibles, pray for others and want to see their husbands come to know Jesus personally.&amp;nbsp; We all know precious women who are finding comfort in God at this time while their marriage and family are seemingly&amp;nbsp; falling apart. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;God&amp;rsquo;s desire is for happy marriages, marriages HIS way , not our selfish ways.&amp;nbsp; Truly happy thriving marriages are those where men are leading their wives closer to God, by example and by godly ways they love their wives.&amp;nbsp; My heart breaks every time I hear of some-one getting a divorce.&amp;nbsp; So please, this week, lift marriages up to God, and for strength for &amp;nbsp;families.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;

<title>Wisdom is putting on the FULL ARMOR</title>

&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:18px;&quot;&gt;I know we should never be surprised when we start in one book of the Bible and end up in another.&amp;nbsp; I prayed and thought maybe God would use Ecclesiastes to show me what to do for the blog on wisdom.&amp;nbsp; I used to think Ecclesiastes was a little depressing.&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;Vanity of vanities, all is vanity (or futile) 1:2.&amp;nbsp; Many people are aware of the verses that say there is a time for everything (chapter 3:1-8).&amp;nbsp; In having dealt with some sad things over the last few months and hearing more and more sad news from friends and family it seemed I was in a time of weeping.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;m supposed to be writing about wisdom, not weeping.&amp;nbsp; Stay with me for a couple of paragraphs&lt;/span&gt;. I&amp;#39;m getting there.&lt;br&gt;

I looked up the passage in Ephesians 6:10-20.&amp;nbsp; It HIT ME.&amp;nbsp; There IS A TIME FOR EVERYTHING.&amp;nbsp; I was no longer to cry but to fight.&amp;nbsp; WHAT?&amp;nbsp; FIGHT?&amp;nbsp; If a soldier is going into battle he would be a fool to go without his supplies.&amp;nbsp; All soldiers have weapons and protective gear.&amp;nbsp; To be WISE, I would have to put the WHOLE ARMOR ON.&amp;nbsp; I asked for wisdom and get armor?&amp;nbsp; Wisdom shows up as I put on the pieces I have been given.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:18px;&quot;&gt;My waist needs to be girded with truth.&amp;nbsp; The truth doesn&amp;#39;t change, truth is truth.&amp;nbsp; When a lie is told it may change 10 times before the truth finally comes out. If I am girded with truth it is much more difficult for deception to enter.&amp;nbsp; The breastplate of righteousness is the next piece.&amp;nbsp; I think of this breastplate protecting my heart, the righteousness of God covering my core.&amp;nbsp; Feet shod with the preparation of peace.&amp;nbsp; Romans 10:15 speaks of this.&amp;nbsp; Saying how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things.&amp;nbsp; In looking up &amp;quot;shod foot&amp;quot; I found that some-one could be charged with this if they used their foot to harm some-one.&amp;nbsp; In the lowellsun.com there&amp;#39;s a very sad article about this very thing by Lisa Redmond which was just updated on 9/12/2012.&amp;nbsp; We as Christians are to shod our feet with the gospel of peace.&amp;nbsp; It reminds me of the time I saw shoes with a peace sign on them.&amp;nbsp; This is giving me an idea to put the peace sign on the bottom of all my shoes to give me that visual reminder.&amp;nbsp; I am a very visual learner.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
In verse 16 (Ephesians 6)&amp;nbsp; we are told&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;above all&amp;quot; when it refers to the shield of faith.&amp;nbsp; It says it is able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.&amp;nbsp; The shield is like having those fiery darts shot into a pool of water.&amp;nbsp; They will immediately be put out.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Our faith should operate like that.&amp;nbsp; It is faith that will put out all the fires the enemy is trying to light in us.&amp;nbsp; Remember, the fire of the enemy is to destroy, the fire from God is to refine. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Read Hebrews 11 for more on faith.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The Helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit is mentioned next.&amp;nbsp; In battle a helmet protects or saves ones head. In having salvation, I am protected from an eternal injury.&amp;nbsp; Because of the salvation in Jesus Christ, the chronic injury/health issues will be no more when I enter eternity.&amp;nbsp; So many believers go through a time of doubting their salvation.&amp;nbsp; The enemy loves to attack the mind,&amp;nbsp; but having the Helmet of Salvation on to protect the mind will prevent believers from going places God truly never intended for us to go.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, is also described in Hebrews 4:12.&amp;nbsp; It says that the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword.&amp;nbsp; We used this verse to explain how the medication from JesusRx works in the blog entitled &amp;quot;How does that prescription work, see package insert.&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
We are told to pray with perseverance. Some versions say praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. The Greek word for supplicaton is Deesis, meaning to call in time of need, like a crying out.&amp;nbsp; We are to stand watchful as Gods army.&amp;nbsp; We don&amp;#39;t stand alone.&amp;nbsp; We can be fully armored but without praying, crying out during the battle, for ourselves and others we are not allowing the full strength of the Holy Spirit.&amp;nbsp; We are not fully armored.&lt;br&gt;

<title>Stopped for Speeding AGAIN! Was WISDOM gained through this experience?</title>

When I first heard the term &amp;quot;she has a lead foot&amp;quot; I was young and not old enough to drive.&amp;nbsp; I came to understand what that meant and couldn&amp;#39;t believe when people would say that about me.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Remember I was younger then.&amp;nbsp; Maybe God makes some peoples feet heavier than others?&amp;nbsp; In Arizona we have straight roads so it easier to go faster than the speed limit without realizing it.&amp;nbsp; I used to drive from Phoenix or from Tucson to Yuma, Arizona and that was a straight boring drive.&amp;nbsp; When bored some people tend to drive faster to get out of the boredom and to the place of friends and family.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;m not talking dangerously fast, maybe only 10 to 15 over the speed limit.&amp;nbsp; I have gotten a few tickets living in Arizona and proud to say not one since I have been in New Hampshire (that I can remember) over the last 11 years.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I did not say I hadn&amp;#39;t been stopped for speeding.&amp;nbsp; On long trips my husband wants me to use cruise control so I won&amp;#39;t keep speeding up then slow back down to the speed limit, but this helps me not be bored.&amp;nbsp; He uses cruise control.&amp;nbsp; He HAS gotten a few speeding tickets while living in New Hampshire, but they have not all been from New Hampshire.&amp;nbsp; I remember calling our insurance to see why we had an increase and it was because of my husbands speeding ticket. His words to me was &amp;quot;You have been stopped more than me for speeding you just get out of getting a ticket&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; The funny thing is I never TRY to get out of them.&amp;nbsp; If I was aware of my actual speed I will say yes when asked and apologize. I love how I get asked if there was some emergency I had and thankfully I can say no.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I remember being stopped 3 times in 2 weeks and only been given warnings.&amp;nbsp; The 1st time I was taking the kids to school and rushing down the hill.&amp;nbsp; The speed limit is 35 and changes to 30 as you get farther down the hill.&amp;nbsp; I was coming down, not pressing on the gas and the car was going about 50.&amp;nbsp; I was stopped by a highway patrol car waiting down the hill for people like me.&amp;nbsp; He saw I was a &amp;quot;local&amp;quot; and talked to me,&amp;nbsp; gave me a warning and reminded me that the people living along the road there didn&amp;#39;t like how fast the cars were coming down the hill.&amp;nbsp; I said I was sorry and I understood.&amp;nbsp; He told me to be safe and have a good morning.&amp;nbsp; That was nice.&amp;nbsp; I should have gained wisdom right then and there.&amp;nbsp; You can look up the definition of wisdom in wikepedia. A quick way they define it is to make use of knowledge.&amp;nbsp; My knowledge was you speed you could get a ticket.&amp;nbsp; I didn&amp;#39;t get a ticket so my knowledge was you got a warning, a warning is good so slow down and don&amp;#39;t speed.&amp;nbsp; I did not become wise yet to this matter.&amp;nbsp; Read on.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
My older daughter at the time was playing softball.&amp;nbsp; This meant driving&amp;nbsp; her from town to town&amp;nbsp; to play her games.&amp;nbsp; Our town is small about 3,500 people and if we drive 25 minutes or so we could go through 2 or 3 small towns to get to the one we needed to get to.&amp;nbsp; On the way home from one of the games&lt;br&gt;
I was going down a hill.&amp;nbsp; I had put my breaks on but the car didn&amp;#39;t slow down as much as it should have. I really thought something was wrong with my breaks.&amp;nbsp; They were working, but not like they should have.&amp;nbsp; Their was a police around the corner as I came down the hill. &amp;nbsp; He turned around put the lights on and came after me.&amp;nbsp; My girls, eyes wide opened,&amp;nbsp; as they stared out the back window.&amp;nbsp; I pull over and it begins.&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;May I have your drivers license and registration please&amp;quot; says the town policeman.&amp;nbsp; I know the drill from just a few days ago.&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;Do you know how fast you were going&amp;quot; says the policeman.&amp;nbsp; My reply &amp;quot;yes sir I had applied my breaks to slow me down, didn&amp;#39;t you notice my break lights on before I even saw you? &amp;quot; I didn&amp;#39;t want to say I thought my breaks weren&amp;#39;t working right because that would&amp;#39;ve sounded like an excuse.&amp;nbsp; Actually I took the car in the next week and had to get repairs.&amp;nbsp; After a few minutes he comes to the window and says, &amp;quot;slow down, I&amp;#39;m just giving you a warning, have a safe evening.&amp;quot; Of course I say a big thank you to him and the Lord .&amp;nbsp; Did I become wise to the matter of speeding?&amp;nbsp; Well yes for a whole 2 or 3 days.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I had to take the girls shopping for something and we were running late.&amp;nbsp; I had to hurry home so my daughter could change and get ready for her softball game.&amp;nbsp; I go speeding around a corner and I see him. The police car is parked facing me and of course turns around and puts his lights on.&amp;nbsp; The minute I saw him&amp;nbsp; turn around I just pulled over and waited for him.&amp;nbsp; My girls, with eyes wide opened, peered out the back window (again).&amp;nbsp; We were in a different town each time I got pulled over so maybe he didn&amp;#39;t know about the 2 previous warnings within the 2 weeks.&amp;nbsp; All I know was he asked&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;do you know the speed limit here?&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; I answered 5mph higher than it was, unfortunately I was going faster than 5mph over.&amp;nbsp; Next question, &amp;quot;any particular reason you were going so fast?&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; My response, &amp;quot; just rushing around, getting one place to another, running late, you know how it is?&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; Maybe he didn&amp;#39;t, because his response was &amp;quot;you shouldn&amp;#39;t say that, that&amp;#39;s not good, rushing around.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; I said I know, I&amp;#39;m sorry.&amp;nbsp; I KNEW the ticket was mine...but guess what?&amp;nbsp; One more warning.&amp;nbsp; I was collecting them in my cup holders.&amp;nbsp; I had wanted to leave them out as a reminder NOT to speed but it wasn&amp;#39;t working.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
My girls said something to some-one and I had to fess up.&amp;nbsp; One of the ladies from church said to me &amp;quot;Eva, you got stopped 3 times and no ticket, you better not just thank the Lord, but slow down.&amp;nbsp; You are being told something. &amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; I thought about that.&amp;nbsp; This all happened several years ago, but I look back on it with these verses in mind today:&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Proverbs 14:8 the wisdom of the purdent is to give thought to their ways, but the folly of fools is deception.&lt;br&gt;
Proverbs 13:20 He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
After the 1st warning I should&amp;#39;ve given thought to my ways, but didn&amp;#39;t.&amp;nbsp; Thinking that speed limits didn&amp;#39;t apply to me was foolish and just because I didn&amp;#39;t get in an accident or a ticket was deceptive.&amp;nbsp; I was full of folly. What if I wasn&amp;#39;t walking or surrounding myself with wise people? This lady I am speaking about consistently held Bible study in her home. She was seeking wisdom from God&amp;#39;s word. What if I was that companion of fools. It says in Gods word the companion of fools suffers harm.&amp;nbsp; What if I was told by this woman, good for you, you got out of all those tickets.&amp;nbsp; See nothing will happen, just keep speeding, see how many warnings you can collect.&amp;nbsp; The folly of a fool would be making a joke or game out of this which would only lead to deception for me. Thank God she was a wise woman and not a foolish woman.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I love Proverbs 9:9 that says:&lt;br&gt;
Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning.&lt;br&gt;
How do I know if some-one is wise? James 3:13 tells me.&amp;nbsp; Who is wise and understanding among you?&amp;nbsp; Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in humility that comes from wisdom. Psalm 111:10 says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding.&amp;nbsp; to Him belongs eternal praise.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&amp;nbsp;The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul.&amp;nbsp; The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. (Psalm 19:7)&lt;br&gt;
I will close with the best thing I can think of for myself and others.&amp;nbsp; That is the words of Paul to the church at Ephesus, which I think is for us today as well.&lt;br&gt;
&amp;quot;I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorius Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know HIM better. (Ephesians 1:17)&lt;br&gt;

<title>Signs of an ANGRY person</title>

I was driving down the road the other day and couldn&amp;#39;t believe how slow the person in front of me was going.&amp;nbsp; I started to have signs of an angry person.&amp;nbsp; I think you know what I am talking about.&amp;nbsp; I started saying not nice things under my breath, like OH COME ON, then when I noticed they were on a cell phone I wanted to start yelling GET OFF YOUR PHONE and concentrate on driving!!&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;m not a &amp;quot;road rage&amp;quot; kind of person, but I felt myself getting a little angry because this person was being inconsiderate.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
How about when you get the wrong order at a restaurant?&amp;nbsp; Does that make you angry?&amp;nbsp; Do you start yelling at the waitress and tell them how incompetant they are? Yelling is a good sign that some-one is angry.&amp;nbsp; Oh boy have I seen angry people at the pharmacy.&amp;nbsp; They get angry that their prescription isn&amp;#39;t ready when they were told.&amp;nbsp; They feel like they have been lied to.&amp;nbsp; Oh that&amp;#39;s a good one...do you get angry when some-one lies to you? Angry people feel like the whole world is against them.&amp;nbsp; No one can do anything right except for them. Would you agree?&amp;nbsp; Sometimes we just say &amp;quot;Oh she just has a bad temper and a short fuse, that&amp;#39;s just the way they are&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; Is that behaviour really acceptable?&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
A tired or hungry person sometimes becomes an angry person.&amp;nbsp; Have you ever been so tired but kept on going just to find yourself upset with everyone around you because they just won&amp;#39;t leave you alone?&amp;nbsp; It may be necessary to remove yourself, get some rest and maybe get a healthy snack.&amp;nbsp; Being tired and hungry is no excuse to snap at those around you. I have to remind myself of that at times.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
A controlling person can be an angry person.&amp;nbsp; You just want everyone around you to be nice and not argue, and do what you say when you say it and if they do you won&amp;#39;t get angry.&amp;nbsp; Does this just describe me, or are there others out there like me? I am smiling because I have seen how I try to control situations and those around me and end up only hurting myself when the anger builds which then causes me to sin.&amp;nbsp; I am to &amp;quot;Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; Do not fret-it leads only to evil&amp;quot;( Psalm 37:8 )&amp;nbsp; I don&amp;#39;t need to fret.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Do not be quickly provoked in you spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.&amp;nbsp; (Ecclesiastes 7:9)&amp;nbsp; I was thinking about this and how at times I am so easily provoked.&amp;nbsp; Have I not put the new self on spoken of in Colossians.&amp;nbsp; Allowing Christ to dwell in me I wouldn&amp;#39;t have to struggle with this.&amp;nbsp; I think the next time I start to get provoked, I will stand up quickly and not let the anger reside in my lap (or heart).&amp;nbsp; When you stand you no longer have a lap to allow anger to reside in.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I love Proberbs 15:1 that says &amp;quot;A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; Try that the next time some-one is angry and speaks harsh words, and see what happens.&amp;nbsp; We must remember that We have a forgiving, gracious God who is compassionate and slow to anger and abounds in love.&amp;nbsp; He doesn&amp;#39;t desert his people even in those times we may get angry with him.&amp;nbsp; (see Nehemiah 9:17)&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;

Please don&amp;#39;t misunderstand me to say we should never be angry.&amp;nbsp; There are a lot of injustices and sin that should cause anger to rise but we are not to take revenge, but leave room for God&amp;#39;s wrath, it is his to avenge (See Romans 12:19) and we should be shining our light for the things of God.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I hope you will remember to smile and be mindful of who is truly residing in you,&amp;nbsp; the next time you feel like yelling, because yelling is the sign of an angry person, and an angry person is some-one you don&amp;#39;t want to be.&amp;nbsp; RIGHT?&amp;nbsp; I don&amp;#39;t!&lt;br&gt;

Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama are Candidates for the office of the President of the United States of America.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&amp;ldquo;What an angry and desperate Presidency looks like. &amp;nbsp;Mr. President, take your campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago&amp;rdquo;. &amp;nbsp;These words were spoken by Romney while campaigning in Ohio, in response to Vice President Biden&amp;rsquo;s speech about the plans Romney has of &amp;ldquo;unchaining Wall Street and putting us all back in chains&amp;rdquo;.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I think both of these Candidates are WONDERFUL&amp;nbsp; candidates for our Prescription for Anger which is being highlighted this month.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; An angry man stirs up dissension and a hot tempered one commits many sins.&amp;nbsp; A man&amp;rsquo;s pride brings him low, but a man of lowly spirit gains honor.&amp;nbsp; (Proverbs 29:22-23) Does any of this describe our candidates?&amp;nbsp; How about, &amp;nbsp;Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God&amp;rsquo;s wrath, for it is written: &amp;ldquo;It is mine to avenge; I will repay, &amp;ldquo; says the Lord.&amp;nbsp; (Romans 12:19)&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
In Galatians Paul&amp;rsquo;s words were given to churches, but many of those words stand true for any organization today.&amp;nbsp; But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another. (Galatians 5:15).&amp;nbsp; Would you agree that could apply to those serving in the white house, maybe even an example of that being played out.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; How about Colossians 3:8 that says but now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. This is what a Christian life should be rid of, but again are these bad things to be rid of and does not a whole society benefit when these things are removed from one&amp;rsquo;s life?&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Correct me, Lord , but only with justice- not in your anger, lest you reduce me to nothing (Jeremiah 10:24).&amp;nbsp; If you go through the book of Jeremiah you will see a beautiful picture of what is to come to God&amp;rsquo;s people paying special attention to Jeremiah 31.&amp;nbsp; Jeremiah 31:31 speaks of the NEW COVENANT God gave to Israel and Judah. See Hebrews 8,9, and 10.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love.&amp;nbsp; Therefore you did not desert them. (Nehemiah 9:17c).&lt;br&gt;
God does not desert any of his followers in any country but he sees the heart of the people by the leadership we choose.&amp;nbsp; Of course he knows all things, not just because who we elect, but another way for US AS A COUNTRY &amp;nbsp;to check our hearts.&amp;nbsp; God knows us and the anger that burns inside of us because of what we feel are injustices done to us by our &amp;ldquo;leadership&amp;rdquo; in whom&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;we the people&amp;rdquo; have elected.&amp;nbsp; Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)&lt;br&gt;

&amp;ldquo;The mechanism of action of (x drug) in the treatment of (x) disease state or (x)&amp;nbsp; with (x) disorder is&lt;strong&gt; unknown&lt;/strong&gt;. &amp;ldquo;&lt;br&gt;
Did you notice the words UNKNOWN, and has been PROPOSED?&lt;br&gt;
You can ask your pharmacist for a package insert on any medication.&lt;br&gt;
Here&amp;rsquo;s another example.&amp;nbsp; &amp;ldquo;Anxiety or tension associated with the stress of everyday life &lt;strong&gt;usually does not require treatment&lt;/strong&gt; with an anxiolytic.&amp;rdquo;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;ldquo;In general, benzodiazepines should be prescribed for short periods only (e,g., 2 to 4 weeks).&amp;nbsp; &amp;ldquo;&amp;nbsp; Continuous&amp;nbsp; long-term use of product is not recommended.&amp;nbsp; Withdrawal symptoms can appear&amp;hellip;.&amp;rdquo;&lt;br&gt;

We have been told that our anger &amp;ldquo;pills&amp;rdquo; were hard to swallow.&amp;nbsp; The speech &amp;ldquo;pills&amp;rdquo; have rebuked and corrected me.&lt;br&gt;
I often wonder why, we as a society, accept so easily a cure will come from a pill that says the mechanism of action is not known, but makes me feel good.&amp;nbsp; In many cases a person feels a quick relief and may continue on those medications as they may harm other areas in the body, which then may require an additional medication or 2 to be added. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Getting to know the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, takes time.&amp;nbsp; By being in the Word of God the renewing of the mind takes place.&amp;nbsp; I asked myself if many of the medications are RENEWING the mind, or are they really masking the heart from seeing the greatest need in one&amp;rsquo;s life.&lt;br&gt;
Sickness is not always a product of sin we are directly involved in.&amp;nbsp; It is the product of disobedience and a lie that occurred in the Garden of Eden.&amp;nbsp; See Genesis chapters1-4.&lt;br&gt;
Colossians 3 tells us things we must put off if we desire Holy Living. This can be done because of the Holy Spirit. If we continue to hold onto things and desire the things not of God we may become sick. &amp;nbsp;Sickness of&amp;nbsp; worry, control, and &amp;nbsp;pride, have entered my life and only through the Word of God, presence of the Holy Spirit&amp;nbsp; and quiet times with God have I been able to overcome. It really is something every -one must experience for themselves.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
We are given the Bible to show us God&amp;rsquo;s love.&amp;nbsp; In His love for us we are told many things. The word of God tells me not to become drunk with wine (Ephesians 5:18).&amp;nbsp; I can ignore this and over time I may become sick due to the effects of alcohol over my life. This is just one example of how we can become sick from disobedience.&amp;nbsp; Another example is gossip.&amp;nbsp; Galatians 5:15 talk&amp;rsquo;s about devouring one another. That doesn&amp;rsquo;t sound too healthy to me! &amp;nbsp;To hear about the negative things in one&amp;rsquo;s life and share those things with joy to others is not good.&amp;nbsp; How can that make one feel healthy?&amp;nbsp; Out speech should be to edify, help build each other up in the things of Christ. To have a heart of Christ is to have compassion when some-one is hurting.&amp;nbsp; Pray for them. Pray they will seek the Lord and He will direct their path.&lt;br&gt;
We are told in scripture how to obtain wisdom, peace and joy even when times seem hard and unbearable. I can&amp;rsquo;t knowingly go against the things in God&amp;rsquo;s Word and find Peace.&amp;nbsp; There are many situations in everyday life that may be stressful.&amp;nbsp; Are you and I going to seek the anxiolytic or seek God&amp;rsquo;s Word and the presence of the Holy Spirit and the people of God to help us FIRST and believe Gods Word works in the way it says it does?&amp;nbsp; Find comfort in knowing Jesus prayed for you, Read John 17:15, 17,25.&amp;nbsp; This should bring &amp;nbsp;you comfort! &amp;nbsp;Zephaniah 3:17 tells us God sings over us.&amp;nbsp; I don&amp;rsquo;t know about you but that makes me rejoice.&lt;br&gt;

<title>FIREWORKS and  SPEECH have a lot in common</title>

&lt;div&gt;Every month at Jesus Rx we highlight one of our &amp;quot;prescriptions&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; I was not sure what we would highlight for July.&amp;nbsp; We ended June by taking part in CreationFest and I had a customer come up to our booth who told me some very sad news he received that morning.&amp;nbsp; He just loved our product and purchased a prescription for speech.&amp;nbsp; In our conversation it came out that when we speak we need to be speaking life and encouragement to one another. He thought I was the one helping him and in our discussion I told him that he helped confirm some things for me.&amp;nbsp; I also told him that I was unsure what our prescription of the month for July would be, but now I knew it would be SPEECH.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;July is the time we celebrate Independence day.&amp;nbsp; I remember going to firework shows in California and Arizona and they were always on the 4th of July.&amp;nbsp; In New Hampshire you can enjoy the firework shows the whole week.&amp;nbsp; Each town has their own ordinance when it comes to fireworks.&amp;nbsp; One town you can shoot them off in your backyard and other towns 1 mile away you can&amp;#39;t.&amp;nbsp; One town may have the display on the 4th, but others may have them on a Saturday if the 4th didn&amp;#39;t fall on the weekend.&amp;nbsp; Some are over lakes, at parks,&amp;nbsp; at the ocean and some in the neighborhood.&amp;nbsp; We went to a&amp;nbsp; small, quiet gathering at a friends to watch a few fireworks.&amp;nbsp; I sat there and enjoyed most of them.&amp;nbsp; I got to thinking about how there were a lot of similarities in the way we speak and in those fireworks.&amp;nbsp; A few days later I kept thinking about that and I will do my best to explain.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Fireworks can be loud, dangerous, harmful, have a stinky smell, cause smoke, be big, bright and beautiful with lots of colors.&amp;nbsp; They can also be expensive.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Our Speech can be loud .&amp;nbsp; We are told in James chapter 3 that our tongue is a small part of the body but it makes great boasts. Ecclesiastes 9:17 says the quiet words of the wise are more be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools.&lt;br&gt;
Our Speech can be dangerous, harmful and have a stinky smell, causing smoke to cloud out what God wants to show us.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
James 3:10 Out of the mouth come praise and cursing.&amp;nbsp; My brothers, this should not be.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
James 1:26 If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Ephesisan 5:4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out oif place, but rather thanksgiving.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Matthew 12:36 But I tell you that men will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every careless word they have spoken.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
1 Peter 3:10 For whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Ephesians 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God&amp;#39;s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.&lt;br&gt;

When our hearts are aligned with Gods heart we can&amp;#39;t help but speak of the big bright and beautiful things of God. Proverbs 10:21 says the lips of the righteous noursh many, but fools die for lack of judgement.&amp;nbsp; We should want our words to nourish, because nourishment brings health. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19).&lt;br&gt;
Proverbs 10:20 tell us the tongue of the righteous is choice silver, but the heart of the wicked is of little value.&lt;br&gt;
1 John 3:18&amp;nbsp; Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.&amp;nbsp; How beautiful it is to see people truly loving one another with truth and action.&lt;br&gt;
Philippians 2:10 says that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every TONGUE CONFESS that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.&amp;nbsp; This may not be beautiful for some, but for others this day will be so bright.&lt;br&gt;
You can also see 1 Peter3:9, Ephesians 4:29&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Fireworks can be expensive.&amp;nbsp; Depending on how we speak it could cost us a lot.&amp;nbsp; We could lose relationships because we were careless in how we spoke. It is only by the grace of&amp;nbsp; God can we be made aware of what needs to changed in our heart and lives. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and&lt;br&gt;
this not from yourselves, it is the Gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9). We are unable to boast in ourselves about the victory God gives.&amp;nbsp; If we confess (speak to God through Jesus) our sins, He (God) is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9). Keep in mind the one who speaks to the Father in our defense. 1 John 2:1b says But if anybody does sin, we have one who SPEAKS to the Father in our defense-JESUS CHRIST, THE RIGHTEOUS ONE. This should bring such comfort.&amp;nbsp; If our speech becomes like the ugly part of the fireworks we have one who will upon asking and confessing turn them into the beautiful things of the fireworks.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
PLEASANT WORDS ARE A HONEYCOMB, SWEET TO THE SOUL AND HEALING TO THE BONES. PROVERBS 16:24&lt;br&gt;

<title>JesusRx woke me up before my dream turned into a nightmare</title>

In sharing part of my life with you, I would like to ask you some questions about your life.&lt;br&gt;
First, are you following your dreams?&lt;br&gt;
Second, what HAVE your dreams been?&lt;br&gt;
Third, has fear played a role in why you haven&amp;#39;t fulfilled those dreams or possibly the reason you did?&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
After graduating High School I think everyone has dreams.&amp;nbsp; My was to some day be happily married to the perfect spouse, have 4 children and be the best pharmacist I could be.&amp;nbsp; I would help people, through medication management, live healthier happier lives. I have fulfilled those dreams.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;ve been happily married for&amp;nbsp; 22 years. Some years happier than others, as anyone who has been married for more than a year knows what I am saying. My husband and I have 2 beautiful daughters.&amp;nbsp; Some days it seems like 4.&amp;nbsp; So yes, the dream of having children was fulfilled. I have been a pharmacist for 23 years, working mainly in the retail setting but in other areas of pharmacy as well.&amp;nbsp; I have fond memories of patients I have helped throughout those years.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I moved from Phoenix, Arizona to New Hampshire about 11 years ago when my husband accepted a job offer. I conitinued to work in pharmacy.&amp;nbsp; About 20 years into pharmacy my love for what I did was no longer there.&amp;nbsp; I asked myself 3 questions. The 3rd question was the most important.&lt;br&gt;
1. Would I take most of the medications I was dispensing?&amp;nbsp; The answer: NO&lt;br&gt;
2. Are there safer alternatives in treating certain disease states? The answer: YES&lt;br&gt;
3. Do you believe in what you are doing? The answer: NO&lt;br&gt;
I had always told myself if money was the only reason I was doing something, then I shouldn&amp;#39;t be doing it.&amp;nbsp; WELL the thought one day was &amp;quot;I&amp;#39;ll make x amount if I take that shift, so I will&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; I was only going to do the shift for the money, not believing in what I did.&amp;nbsp; This was the beginning of my dream turning into a nightmare.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
My husband got concerned, not just about the money I wouldn&amp;#39;t be making, but also with me struggling with what would I do next.&amp;nbsp; Depression started setting in and I knew I could go to my doctor and get something to cheer me up, instead I got on the treadmill and looked into God&amp;#39;s word for my what next. My husband in trying to encourage me asked what my dream was, what do you like to do? &amp;quot; I just want to help people&amp;quot;, was my reply.&amp;nbsp; I thought of my dream when becoming a pharmacist and I said I just want people to&amp;nbsp; lead healthier lives and I was feeling that many of the drugs I was giving out was not doing that.&amp;nbsp; My husband said what about your jars? You like doing those.&amp;nbsp; I had made gifts at Christmas for friends.&amp;nbsp; I gave them &amp;quot;prescriptions&amp;quot; for Peace and Love. I used Avery labels and filled the prescriptions with 30 different verses so they could take a &amp;quot;daily dose&amp;quot; of God&amp;#39;s Word when taking their daily doses of medication or vitamins. Friends would call and see if I had any becasue they had a friend that needed some comfort or encouragement through cancer, or divorce, etc.&lt;br&gt;

My husband said to start checking on getting a product together and that is how Jesus Rx was born. I am so thankful for the encouragement others have given us and the advice and time they have taken in getting us to this point.&amp;nbsp; We still have so far to go in fulfilling &amp;quot;the dream&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; God has been gracious to us, and if you are one of His children I hope you can say the same.&amp;nbsp; God has given each of His children creative talents and gifts to be used for His purpose and glory.&amp;nbsp; The practice of pharmacy was not a bad thing just not the thing I was to continue doing in fulfilling the purpose God has for me.&amp;nbsp; For 20 plus years I filled many prescriptions for things that can never be cured with pills alone.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Our Missions Statement is&amp;nbsp; to lead others 1st and foremost to the Great Physician for all of lives circumstances through the Word of God, not denying that medication plays a role while on this earth.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
We have a prescription for fear, which I have taken. Actually, I take all of our prescriptions without the fear of them giving me bothersome side effects, and without worrying of negative interactions. They really work well together.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I want to encourage you to look at your gifts from God and the talents you have and don&amp;#39;t be afraid to step out to where God is calling you.&amp;nbsp; Don&amp;#39;t be afraid to dream.&amp;nbsp; God knows your dreams and you heart, let him guide both. Pray and be alert to opportunities in fulfilling your dreams.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
As long as I continue to have dreams, my life will be pretty good.&amp;nbsp; I think life gets bad when we give up on our dreams, or allow them to turn into nightmares.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;m NOT DONE DREAMING, and I HOPE YOU AREN&amp;#39;T EITHER.&lt;br&gt;

<title>CHILDREN GRADUATE</title>

Dedicated to my 2012 High School Graduate&lt;/div&gt;

Many of you have seen your children graduate from Pre-school to Elementary school, from Elementary to Jr High, Jr High to High School, High School to College or into the work force.&amp;nbsp; Some parents, even get to share in their childrens college graduations, even if it happens 10 years or longer after High School.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
My husband and I get to see our first born graduate from High School this year.&amp;nbsp; She is number one in her class, has been accepted to all the colleges she applied for obtaining scholarships from every one.&amp;nbsp; She was very active in sports, getting the MVP for one sport and Coaches award for another.&amp;nbsp; She belonged to clubs that had community service and scholastic achievements as their cornerstone.&amp;nbsp; She was voted Most Likely to Succeed.&amp;nbsp; She managed to hold a part time job for the last 2 years.&amp;nbsp; We love her very much.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
NOW REALITY: Our daughter is not number one in her class, she&amp;#39;s not even in the top 10. She did not get accepted onto all the colleges she applied too and to our knowledge, at this point, we have not seen any scholarships.&amp;nbsp; She is eligible for very little financial aide which is in the form of student loans.&amp;nbsp; She usually played at least one sport a year, receiving a &amp;quot;participant&amp;quot; award. She did not belong to any clubs.&amp;nbsp; She did the amount of community service required to graduate. Thanks to one of her friends she recently got a job at a restaurant.&amp;nbsp; She was working about 5 hours a week.&amp;nbsp; THE REALITY IS,&amp;nbsp; WE LOVE HER VERY MUCH.&amp;nbsp; WE COULDN&amp;#39;T LOVE HER MORE EVEN IF SHE HAD DONE ALL THE THINGS MENTIONED IN THE PREVIOUS PARAGRAPH.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
We love her becasue she has been given to us by God.&amp;nbsp; She&amp;#39;s our child.&amp;nbsp; If you are a child of God, he can&amp;#39;t love you &amp;quot; more&amp;quot; because of your accomplishments, He JUST LOVES YOU.&amp;nbsp; As you walk in obedience to your Heavenly Father, blessings come. God puts a love in a parents heart that is hard to describe.&amp;nbsp; If you are a parent you know what I am talking about.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Not all of us have children who make choices reflecting a love for God or who understands or cares to understand the depth of Gods love for them.&amp;nbsp; Pray Ephesians 3:16-19 inserting you child (or other loved ones name).&amp;nbsp; If you have rooted and grounded your children with Gods word and continue to live for Christ you must believe Proverbs 22:6 which says &amp;quot;Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it.&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;
I can&amp;#39;t take on the good or bad consequences from the choices my children make.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp; will continue to love them and seek Godly counsel to do what is right in the sight of God, not the world.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I haven&amp;#39;t been the &amp;quot;perfect&amp;quot; parent, or the &amp;quot;perfect&amp;quot; anything for that matter.&amp;nbsp; I do have the perfect love of Christ dwelling in me that enables me to obtain a perfect peace.&amp;nbsp; It seem funny how that can be, when things seem like they are falling apart around you, and you choose to stand firm in what God Word says the peace that passes all understanding is there.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I&amp;#39;m looking at verses from the &amp;quot;prescription for children&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; There seems to be so many about discipline.&lt;br&gt;
(Proverbs 12:1, 13:18,24, 10:17, 15:32, 19:18, 23:13-14, 29:17)&lt;br&gt;
The verses on God knowing us and our children before we were born show how we are thought of and created by God. We are no accident.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
(Psalm 139:13-16, Job 10:8-12)&lt;br&gt;
There&amp;#39;s warnings and commandments for children and parents.&lt;br&gt;
( Deuteronomy 6:6-7, 103:13, Colossians 3:20-21, Ephesians 6:1-3, Proverbs 23:15-16&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Congratulations to all the graduates and their families. May you have the peace of God in your hearts and his safety around you.&amp;nbsp; Pray for your children daily.&lt;br&gt;

<title>Forgiveness and White Counter Tops</title>

What color is your kitchen and bathroom countertops?&amp;nbsp; Would anyone in their right mind want white ones?&amp;nbsp; I moved into a house about 10 years ago and that is what was in the kitchen and bathrooms.&amp;nbsp; About a week ago I got a new appreciation for those white countertops.&amp;nbsp; I will try to explain how this happened.&lt;br&gt;
Did it make me happy to see every little spot and stain? NO, it drove me crazy.&amp;nbsp; It didn&amp;#39;t seem to bother anyone else in my house.&amp;nbsp; I wonder if they mind if they can&amp;#39;t see the countertop at all.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Ok, they aren&amp;#39;t that bad.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
If, like in other homes we had, I had a granite looking countertop it would be easy for me to miss some of the spills, or not even notice them at all.&amp;nbsp; Most spills would easily blend in. I started to think of&amp;nbsp; verses that speak of being whiter than snow. Psalm 51:7 says Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. (KJV) and Isaiah 1:18&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;Come now, and let us reason together&amp;quot;, Says the Lord, &amp;quot;Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow, Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Our lives, just like our countertops, have &amp;quot;things&amp;quot; put on them daily. I have found a way to get my countertop free of coffee, tea, markers, etc &amp;quot;spots&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; I use Ajax &amp;trade; or Comet &amp;trade; sometimes even Soft Scrub &amp;reg;.&amp;nbsp; Depending on the stain, one of my choices may be better than another. If my life reflects a white countertop, I should be able to see see spots and blemishes right away.&amp;nbsp; This I should be thankful for. Just as I trust the cleaners to get the countertop clean, I trust what 1 John 1:7-9 says about the Son Jesus Christ cleansing my blemishes and spots.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;

I could get a countertop that hides most stains, but they would still be there.&amp;nbsp; I can have a life where I hide all my sin and stains from others, but they would still be there.&amp;nbsp; The only way to remove them is by using the right cleaner. No matter what the &amp;quot;stain&amp;quot; or &amp;quot;ugliness&amp;quot; was caused by I don&amp;#39;t have to keep jumping from one cleaner to another. Above it says the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from ALL sin, cleanse us from ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.&amp;nbsp; Why would I need to search out anything else to become clean and forgiven?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;
Whenever I pull one of these cleaners out I am now reminded of God&amp;#39;s love for me and how I have a way to be &amp;quot;whiter than snow&amp;quot;, or in other words, FORGIVEN! I love how God is able to turn that white counter top into a reminder of the forgiveness, and cleansing I have been given.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
What are you using as your &amp;quot;cleaner&amp;quot;? I pray we will&amp;nbsp; never be afraid to soak in that cleansing.&lt;br&gt;

I would like to list the &amp;quot;ingredients&amp;quot; in our Finance Prescription for review. &amp;nbsp;Of course there are many more scriptures where we are told about money and ways to honor God with that area of our lives. &amp;nbsp;Growing up I don&amp;#39;t remember hearing a lot about what God said about money, but a lot about &amp;quot;hell, fire and brimstone&amp;quot;. Once I was safe from that &amp;quot;hell, fire and brimstone&amp;quot; how was I supposed to live the life God has given me while on this earth?&lt;br&gt;
Thankfully, as an adult I had the privilege of being part of Bible Studies that let me know God is concerned with my WHOLE life, which includes, marriage, children, relationships, work and yes EVEN FINANCES. &amp;nbsp;I encourage you, after reading this, TO STUDY the Word of God. &amp;nbsp;Look at the context these words have come from. &amp;nbsp;Look at different versions of the Bible. &amp;nbsp;See what words mean in the Hebrew and Greek. &amp;nbsp;I pray you will be healthy in all areas of your life! Yes it takes work on your part. &amp;nbsp;God will go every step of the way with you, but you must invite him.&lt;br&gt;

People who want to get rich fall into temption and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. &amp;nbsp;For the LOVE of money is a root of all kinds of evil. &amp;nbsp;Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. &amp;nbsp;Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have because God has said &amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.&amp;quot; &amp;nbsp;Listen my dear brothers: Has not God choosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom He promised those who love Him? &amp;nbsp;Jesus said &amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. &amp;nbsp;You cannot serve both God and Money&amp;quot; . &amp;nbsp;Command those who are rich in thise present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. &amp;nbsp;But godliness with contentment is great gain. &amp;nbsp;for we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. &amp;nbsp;But if we have food and clothing we will be content with that. &amp;nbsp;Paul, (a servant of Christ Jesus) said, &amp;quot;I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. &amp;nbsp;I know what it is to be in need and I know what it is to have plenty.&amp;nbsp;I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenyt or in want. &amp;nbsp; I can do everything &amp;nbsp;through Him who gives me strength.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent of anybody. Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint. All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. &amp;nbsp;The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously; those the Lord blesses will inherit the land, but those he curses will be cut off. Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. &amp;nbsp;Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Jesus said &amp;quot;Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. &amp;nbsp; But store up for you yourselves treasures in heaven. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. &amp;nbsp;Test me in this&amp;quot; says the Lord Almighty, &amp;quot; and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessings that you will not have room enough for it.&amp;quot; &amp;nbsp;To the man who pleases Him, God gives wisdom, knowledge, and happiness, but to the sinner He gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. &amp;nbsp;Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. &amp;nbsp;Nothing is to hard for you. And my God will meet all your NEEDS according to HIs glorious riches in Christ Jesus. &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;

I had left a few dishes in the sink and a pan on the stove. When I got up the next morning and went down to the kitchen, of course the food in the pan had hardened. Of course had I cleaned the pan the night before the food would&amp;#39;ve come off much easier. I started to scrub, then realized I should just put some water in the pan and let it soak while I did some other things. &amp;nbsp;I felt I could get something else accomplished as the pan soaked. After 30 minutes or so I was able to easily clean the &amp;quot;hard stuff&amp;quot; off the pan, making it clean and ready to be used again.&lt;br&gt;

After adding the water to the pan, I couldn&amp;#39;t help but think of the Water of Life. Jesus spoke to a woman at a well (John 4:1-26).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;

I hope you remember no matter how &amp;quot;dirty&amp;quot; you life is, it is possible to be cleansed. &amp;nbsp;The price paid for that cleansing was not easy for Jesus as we read about the suffering that was endured while heading to and on the cross. (Matthew 27: 11-66)&lt;br&gt;

Isaiah 64:6 says &amp;quot;But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousness (me trying to get clean on my own) are like filthy rags. I then read Philippians 3:7-9 and Paul says, (paying attention to verse 9) &amp;quot;and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the &amp;nbsp;righteousness which comes from God by faith.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;

I told my husband he could&amp;#39;ve just looked through the information in the crown books and to the Word of God for the same principles. &amp;nbsp;AMAZING! many people have Bibles somewhere in their homes and are so unaware of how Gods Word DOES APPLY to us today.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;

I know the first step I must do is pray, make a plan, pray some more, continue to give to kingdom causes, study Gods word and have accountability. &amp;nbsp;Accountability is very important. &amp;nbsp;Again this can bring up feelings of being oppressed or being set free. &amp;nbsp;Freedom &amp;nbsp;can be obtained through accountability.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
There is a couple at the church I attend who have done the Dave Ramsey course and are debt free. &amp;nbsp;They are very willing to help others in this area. I mentioned my family was going on vacation and when I get back whenever she sees me it&amp;#39;s ok to ask how I am doing on &amp;quot;the budget&amp;quot;. This amount of accountability, a whole 2 minutes, encourages me. &amp;nbsp;No hour or 2 hour meeting is needed. &amp;nbsp;If I need that time, I have no doubt she would provide it, without charge!&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
God gives us freedom in all areas of our lives. We have so many choices as we walk this earth. Have you found freedom in Jesus Christ, God&amp;#39;s son? &amp;nbsp;Choose this day whom you will serve, Jesus said, you cannot serve 2 masters....you cannot serve God and money (mammon) See Matthew 6:24.&lt;br&gt;
1. Admit your a sinner (the sickness that seperates us from God)&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
2. Believe Jesus is the Son of God, perfect one, able to take your sins (make you debt free), and heal your seperation from God.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
3. Ask Jesus to come and live in your heart as your personal Savior. &amp;nbsp;1 John 1:9 says &amp;quot;If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.&amp;quot; &amp;nbsp;Also see 1 John 1:12 and John 3:16.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
If you have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you truly have a debt free life. &amp;nbsp;Yes, &amp;nbsp;you and I may still have bills to pay in the physical sense, but we can rejoice much in knowing no matter what we go through the price has been paid for us to receive eternal life. &amp;nbsp;I apologize...we do have 1 debt and that is &amp;quot; the continuing debt to love one another&amp;quot; &amp;nbsp;see Romans 13:8-14&lt;br&gt;

<title>What should you do when pharmacist says &quot;your prescription is not covered&quot;?</title>

&lt;span style=&quot;font-size:20px;&quot;&gt;Have you ever been told by your pharmacist that your prescription, or the one prescribed for a family member, is not covered by your insurance? &amp;nbsp;What did you do? &amp;nbsp;What can you do? &amp;nbsp;There are a few options.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
1. &amp;nbsp;You can pay cash price for the medication. &amp;nbsp;Being Finance month at JesusRx we would like to suggest ways you won&amp;#39;t have to do this.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
2.&amp;nbsp;You can ask the pharmacist to call the doctor to see if they will change it to one that is covered. Many pharmacies fax through the computer to the doctors office for the request, so they may not even speak to anyone.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; If you do this, let the pharmacist know what you are being treated for so they can get you the best medication for the medical diagnosis.&lt;br&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Example: &amp;nbsp;you present a prescription for an antibiotic to the pharmacist, if they know where the infection is they will know better what to ask the doctor for.&lt;br&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;If you have a skin infection they may recommend one antibiotic, but if you have a sinus infection the antibiotic recommended would be different.&lt;br&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Mention any medication allergies you may have at this time, even if it is recorded in the pharmacy computer.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Don&amp;#39;t expect this to be done within 15 minutes. &amp;nbsp;The doctors office usually needs time to get back to the pharmacist. &amp;nbsp;The doctor may be in a room with a patient and the nurse needs to get back to the pharmacy once he or she speaks to the doctor. &amp;nbsp;Tell the pharmacy that you will call them to check on the status of the prescription. You can also go home and call your doctors office and tell them you need them to change the prescription to something that is covered on your insurance. &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
If the doctor does not &amp;nbsp;want to change the presription, it is still possible to get it covered with a prior authorization (referred to as a PA). The pharmacist can ask the doctor to get a prior authorization from insurance for you. &amp;nbsp;This can take several days before the insurance approves it. &amp;nbsp;Be patient. &amp;nbsp;Many times the doctor will &amp;nbsp;change the medication to something that is covered but there are times when the original medication prescribed should not be changed.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&amp;nbsp;3. You can call your insurance company (the number is usually on the back of your card) and tell them the pharmacy said a prescription wasn&amp;#39;t covererd. Give them your information, name, member number, etc. &amp;nbsp; They should have the presription rejection to look at on their end. &amp;nbsp;Ask them what would be covered. &amp;nbsp;They ususally have a list of drugs in each class of medications that they cover. You could then call the doctors office to see if they will call a new prescription in for one that is covered. Make sure you leave the names of the medications the insurance company gave you. &amp;nbsp;Don&amp;#39;t expect this to be done in 15 minutes, it may take several hours.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I am not sure if you know your pharmacist or what kind of pharmacy you use. &amp;nbsp;I will include a blog later in the week on how to look for a pharmacy that is a good match for you and your family. &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
If you get resistance from the pharmacay about calling the doctor to change the prescription to a covered medication or to get a prior authorization you might want to consider other pharmacies in the area. Let the pharmacy know you understand it will take time to get this done and you will check with them later and call your doctor as well. &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
These tips are to help you be a smarter consumer when it comes to medications. &amp;nbsp;A lot of things the public is not aware of goes on in the pharmacy. &amp;nbsp;Get to know your pharmacist. Some of them may be Christians that care for you more than you can imagine. &amp;nbsp;Keep them in prayer. &amp;nbsp;Ask God to protect them from mistakes. &amp;nbsp;We&amp;#39;ll blog on things pharmacies have put in place to help avoid errors. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;

JesusRx can be used to help a person grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ by being a reminder of His Word. We have listed just a few ways we are seeing JesusRx daily doses being used.&lt;br&gt;

1. The most obvious one is to&amp;nbsp; put your JesusRx daily dose near your prescription medications and read daily.&amp;nbsp; This is taking a step towards ones spiritual need of not living by &amp;quot;bread alone, (or prescription medications)&amp;nbsp; but every word that proceedith out of the mouth of God&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
2. We know of a church who is using JesusRx daily doses&amp;nbsp; as a welcome gift to those visiting.&amp;nbsp; Being aware that some people will only go to church 2 or 3 times a year they are giving out the Word of God to be present in those homes.&amp;nbsp; The note from the pharmacist is a very simple way of letting a person know how to get to know the Great Physician. &amp;nbsp;If a person doesn&amp;#39;t already know Jesus Christ as Lord and &amp;nbsp;Saviour the plan of salvation will be readily available once they realize this most important need in their life. We are praying that those visitors will find a &amp;quot;church family&amp;quot;.&lt;br&gt;

3. A youth group leader uses them when they meet and let us know that even on their outings the youth will bring up a verse.&amp;nbsp; They have asked for us to keep in mind&amp;nbsp; the need for medication for &amp;quot;tolerance &amp;nbsp;and &amp;quot;patience &amp;quot;when we add prescriptions to our line. this is exciting because Jesus Rx daily doses are reminding those youth of God&amp;#39;s Word and they are applying it to their daily lives! &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
4. They make great reminders about what was covered in Bible Study&amp;#39;s.&amp;nbsp; The prescription for SPEECH&amp;nbsp; is a great follow up for a person who has read &amp;quot;War of Words&amp;quot;. &amp;nbsp; Marriage retreats or seminars are great but how fast couples forget what was taught and go back into old patterns.&amp;nbsp; The prescription for MARRIAGE &amp;nbsp; makes it handy to see a verse and remember what was said in the seminar.&amp;nbsp; Many Christians are looking to the Word of God to get out of debt and be released from the financial bondage they are suffering. Dave Ramseys studies have been popular the last few years. &amp;nbsp;The FINANCE medication is a great reminder of the principles taught in that course or other biblical financial classes.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
5. Wonderful gifts for friends and relatives. &amp;nbsp;They are usefull and look nice sitting on your shelf or table. When visitors stop in they will ask what that &amp;quot;thing&amp;quot; on the shelf is and you will have an opportunity to share with them some Great Medicine. &amp;nbsp;YES IT IS SAFE TO SHARE THIS KIND OF MEDICINE! &amp;nbsp;We encourage it!&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
6. Individual daily doses are hole punched and used on key rings, and also as necklaces on leather roping. &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;

<title>In The Beginning</title>

My parents and siblings would say they liked the gifts I would give because they were unique and thoughtful.&amp;nbsp; Honestly I don&amp;#39;t just give a gift to give a gift.&amp;nbsp; When I am out and about and I see something that has a &amp;quot;persons name all over it&amp;quot;, I buy it.&amp;nbsp; A birthday or special occasion may not be coming soon.&amp;nbsp; For Christmas 2009, I wanted to give some of the ladies that were meeting in my home&amp;nbsp; for Bible Study a &amp;quot;special&amp;quot; gift.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
About this same time I started to struggle with fear in my life.&amp;nbsp; I moved to New Hampshire from Arizona and lived here almost 8 years.&amp;nbsp; I had been driving in winter weather for about 8 years.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; For some reason I couldn&amp;#39;t drive down my hill if it was snowing or had snowed recently.&amp;nbsp; I wouldn&amp;#39;t take my kids to school.&amp;nbsp; I told my husband the kids could stay home unless he was going to take them.&amp;nbsp; He took them and&amp;nbsp; I would pick them up&amp;nbsp; after I knew the school parking lot would be cleared..&amp;nbsp; This was crazy.&amp;nbsp; It got to the point where I would feel&amp;nbsp; panicked if I thought my husband wouldn&amp;#39;t take the kids.&amp;nbsp; He knows me well enough to know that I would not have taken them and I had no problem letting them stay home &amp;quot;and be safe&amp;quot;. .&amp;nbsp; My husband was so good and did not respond like I would&amp;#39;ve by saying something like &amp;quot;what is wrong with you, just take the kids, you are being ridiculous.&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; Thank God he didn&amp;#39;t talk to me like that, and I was made aware of how I shouldn&amp;#39;t talk to those suffering with fear.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I had around 12 women coming up the hill once a week for Bible Study and I didn&amp;#39;t let them know right away what was happening.&amp;nbsp; I think all these women were older than me and had no problems getting up or down my hill.&amp;nbsp; I knew this was ridiculous and I needed help before things got worse.&amp;nbsp; I could call my doctor and get some Xanax (alprazolam) and that would calm me down OR I could go to the Word of God (to the Great Physician) and see what the &amp;quot;prescription&amp;quot; was for fear and how to overcome that in my life.&amp;nbsp; I found around 30 verses related to fear (these are the verses in the prescription to overcome fear).&amp;nbsp; I wrote them down and went over them, asking myself&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;Do you really believe what God says in His Word&amp;quot;?&amp;nbsp; I knew in my heart I did, but my mind wasn&amp;#39;t agreeing.&amp;nbsp; That week as the ladies came over I did ask for prayer and explained what was going on.&amp;nbsp; Being as sweet as they are they wrote that down and looked at me a little &amp;quot;funny&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; I could tell they had every confidence in Jesus Christ that I would be better soon. Within 2 weeks of going over Gods Word (I call it medicine), and prayer I was able to get in the car and drive, no matter the weather.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Look for my later blog on &amp;quot;the storm&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; Back to the gifts for Christmas.&amp;nbsp; I now wanted to give my friends &amp;quot;prescriptions&amp;quot; for Peace and Love.&amp;nbsp; I looked up verses and searched for just the right prescription jars to put them in.&amp;nbsp; I bought avery labels and pulled out an old laminator we had.&amp;nbsp; I don&amp;#39;t have lots of experience with the computer so my husband helped me with the labels.&amp;nbsp; I was so excited to give them to friends to encourage them when they needed peace or when at times they might feel &amp;quot;unloved&amp;quot; (actually unappreciated, which feels the same to some of us).&amp;nbsp; In our hearts, with Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour we KNOW we are loved but like I mentioned above our minds may not always say the same thing because of so many &amp;quot;outside&amp;quot; things going on.&amp;nbsp; What you see when you look at JesusRx all began becasue of fear and wanting to give a special gift to friends..&lt;br&gt;

I know God uses everything for &amp;quot;good&amp;quot; and the fear I experienced is the reason JesusRx is here.&amp;nbsp; I did not even know at the time that this is what I would be doing. Feel free to follow along as I share &amp;quot;the journey&amp;quot;.&lt;br&gt;

Being a pharmacist for 23 years I can&amp;#39;t help but be concerned if people are taking their medication and if they are taking them correctly.&amp;nbsp; My goal was always to help people live healthy lives.&amp;nbsp; I knew, and most of my customers knew, it was much faster and easier to take a pill than to eat healthy, exercise and learn how to handle stressful life situations. When treating a person, it is very important to treat the whole person.&amp;nbsp; That means treating one&amp;#39;s physical,(body), mental (mind), and spiritual (soul) needs.&amp;nbsp; Balance is a very important thing when it comes to being healthy.&lt;br&gt;

I knew I would always have a job because people love their medicine.&amp;nbsp; Twenty four years ago prozac was being tested at one of my college rotations.&amp;nbsp; That was such a &amp;quot;miracle&amp;quot; drug.&amp;nbsp; It amazed me how far we have come.&amp;nbsp; Now to help people we give 2 or 3 different antidepressants because they help with different areas in the brain.&amp;nbsp; I was dispensing huge amount of ADD drugs.&amp;nbsp; I would ask my patients about diet and exercise. I remember a lady telling me she needed to take more of her antidepressants.&amp;nbsp; I asked if she exercised and let her know that she should try that for a week and see how she feels. Another patient asked me to recommend a sleep medication (over the counter).&amp;nbsp; I told her I could, but that sometimes people aren&amp;#39;t sleeping because they are stressing or thinking about things.&amp;nbsp; I told her the sleeping medications&amp;nbsp; might help for a bit but it may only mask what needed to be dealt with.&amp;nbsp; She then proceeded to tell me that yes there were things she is getting counseling for and released some concerns about her situation.&amp;nbsp; I encouraged her to keep her appointments&amp;nbsp; and asked if she prayed.&amp;nbsp; She said yes.&amp;nbsp; I asked who she prayed to.&amp;nbsp; I knew at that moment that this was the beginning of my end of dispensing the medications I spent 5 years of my life learning about and continued to learn about as the &amp;quot;latest and the greatest&amp;quot; symptom cures arrived.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I am now dispensing &amp;quot;medicine&amp;quot; which is Gods word.&amp;nbsp; When we don&amp;#39;t speak right to one another my kids often hear me say &amp;quot;take your medicine&amp;quot; and I will leave a jar in their room.&amp;nbsp; When fear starts to creep in over a situation I don&amp;#39;t wait days, I go right to my fear jar and pull out daily doses of Gods word to overcome fear.&amp;nbsp; We encourage you to read your Bible for all of lifes circumstances.&amp;nbsp; Our daily doses are a quick reminder of Gods Word for whatever specific situation you may be needing encouragement in.&amp;nbsp; We hope to have a book out about the journey Jesus Rx has been on.&amp;nbsp; We want you encouraged and would love to hear your are taking the &amp;quot;RIGHT MEDICINE&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp; God bless you as you seek true health!&lt;br&gt;
